Resident Evil fans will rejoice as news slowly filters through that the Wii will see the original Resident Evil game ported over from the Gamecube with enhanced Wii specific controls.
Capcom has announced through Famitsu that Resident Evil, one of their most successful titles ever, will be ported over to the Nintendo Wii. The game has been confirmed for a release on Christmas day in Japan, December 25th, 2008, but no word on an international release.
