The Conduit, possibly the most eagerly awaited FPS this year for Wii, is due to be released June 9th in the US.

Whilst the majoirty of gamers were belated at the news, a large proportion will be bitterly dissapointed to learn the first person shooter will not include split-screen multiplayer support, as originally thought.

If you log into your virtual village today you’ll be greeted with the mail man who’ll proceed to give you a rather stylish red Pikmin hat for absolutely free. No room to complain about the lack of downloadable content for Nintendo premier life-sim franchise now.

Nintendo Wii: Pikmin Wii Has Reversible Gamecube Cover

New Play Control! Pikmin on the Nintendo Wii features a rather nifty reversible Gamecube cover.

If you’re not entirely enamoured by the new Wii New Play Control box-art which adorns the cover of Pikmin Wii, then you’re thankfully entitled to reverse the cover and display the Gamecube’s original Pikmin box-art instead. Sadly no word as of yet as to whether the rest of the New Play Control titles will follow suite, but it’d be rather odd if they didn’t.

Nintendo DS: Mario And Luigi RPG Hits The High Notes With Famitsu

Famitsu, often referred to as ‘the gamers bible’, has graciously awarded Mario and Luigi RPG a stunning 35/40 review score.

Four ambitious reviewers took part in the process of reviewing the game, with three awarding nine’s and one offering an always acceptable, 8. Mario and Luigi RPG will be gracing Western shores sometime this year, but as of yet, there’s no firm release date available at this precise moment in time.

Nintendo Wii: Sonic Has Been Issued A European Release Date

The sword slashing follow-up to the best Sonic game in recent times has been given an official European release date.

The gorgeous looking Sonic and the Black Knight is set to hit European retail emporiums March 13th, three days after the US release and a mere day after the Japanese release. Great news for PAL Wii owners who’re often unfairly subjected to lengthy delays of popular gaming titles.

Nintendo Wii: Wii Fit Dominates Charts For Fifth Week

Nintendo’s highly successful Wii Fit continues to remain steadfast at the top of the all formats chart for its fifth consecutive week, proudly beating off the likes of Call of Duty 5 and Guitar Hero.

With stores still experiencing stock availability problems since the games launch last April, it’ll certainly be interesting to see just how long into the future Wii Fit can maintain its dominant stance.

Nintendo Wii: Segas MadWorld Officially Due March 10th

Sega’s forthcoming brutalizing brawler Madworld has officially been dated for release, March 10th.

Sega and Platinum games have now officially confirmed to gaming press that March 10th is the street date for its highly anticipated futuristic brawler. Word on the street suggest it’s cracking up to be something exceptionally special for Wii owners, with online gaming publication CVG stating the game is “absolutely hilarious” but also gratuitously violent.

Nintendo Wii: New Kid Icarus Character Model Surfaces Online?

Rumours surrounding Kid Icarus refuse to die even though the purported developer behind the game, Factor 5, have indefinitely suspended their operations.

Apparently the development team at Factor 5 (who’re reportedly still in business) are working feverishly on an update to the Kid Icarus franchise. To further boost this rumour, a generic looking character model for the main protagonist, Pit, has surfaced online.
