Famed British television presenter Jonathan Ross recently got the chance to play a pre-production Nintendo 3DS just before the press event next week and his initial impressions of the device are overwhelmingly positive.

“What I can say about 3DS is that the 3D is far better than I would have thought possible without glasses. Can be switched to regular 2D,” he wrote.

Ross went on to say that he tried out several titles such as Mario Kart. “The games that seem to benefit the most (from the 3D) are the driving and shooting games – the perspective makes it all feel more accurate,” he added.
