The Official Nintendo Magazine have tentatively dated The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword with an October 2011 release in the latest issue of the publication.
We know that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Nintendo Wii is due for release sometime after The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D which is currently scheduled for release June 17th in the UK and June 19th in North America. Does October sound like a plausible release date to you?
Definitely sounds plausible. They did say that they were postponing it from Spring 2011 to the end of the year when they first postponed it
well is better than a 2012 release!!!
Since it’s around the end of the year, sure. I could definitely see this happening. It wouldn’t be a black-Friday launch or anything, but it would still be a hot item this holiday season.
It could be released the same way as Twilight Princess for the Wii and the new Nintendo console if they choose to launch it this year for $400.
Hmm…well then does that can the rumors of it being a WiiHD title? Will the HD release sooner than expected (like the 3DS) or will they re-release for HD later?
Going with the notion that the next console releases next year at the earliest and backwards-compatibility in that console, there would be no need for a separate HD version.
It’s possible it could be release on October. Perfect time for a purchase.

It does sound likely but ONM have CONFIRMED that it is a predicted release, first they said April, then September and now October. They haven’t got any exclusive info.
I hope that this coincides with the release of project cafe or stream or wii 2; whichever you want to call it. I have had a wii, I don’t rate it but I am a sucker for the Legend of Zelda titles. Maybe they will do what they did for Twilight princess?

I was told today, when pre orering skyward sword that the october 31st will be the release date, this was told to me by a staff member of the store, I hope the staf member was right, I hope this post is not incorrect. I would very much like to expeirence Link in flight, zelda not a princess, and if the rumors are true, some kind of back story explaining why ganondorf is the way he is
