One of the readers of My Nintendo News has informed me that a Nintendo of America customer service representative has told him that the Gameboy Advance ambassador games won’t be coming out until sometime between January and April. Nintendo UK told Eurogamer last Thursday that they were still due out this year.
So guess what folks, i called nintendo to ask about the gba games and the person told me the games wont be out till sometime between Jan and April. WOW!

The guy is a regular poster on the MNN Facebook page so I don’t doubt that the representative he spoke to said that. The customer service representative may have simply given him the wrong information. Still, we’ve yet to hear a firm date and we’ve only got three weeks left of December.
How to get them out before 2012:
1. Tell the complete list to homebrew developers.
2. Watch them create a GBA emulator for the 3DS in a week.

Hey, guess what, people. I called Nintendo this morning and asked them if they could let me develop the next Zelda game that explains the first encounter with Zelda, the godess, and with nothing that predates it.
They told me they couldn’t do that at the moment because they are currently working on Eternal Darkness 2 and don’t want to focus on anything else. Instead, they told me that the free GBA games that were promised to use are going to be available tomorrow for ambassadors for free as well as for everyone else for a fee. They are going to charge $50 each because they’re classics.
Now make an article with that.

The big problem I have with this is that they never seem to be able to make up their minds about when they’ll release the games, and then say a date just to unconfirm (real word?) it later. To everyones disappointment.
