Popular online store Amazon has revealed the official box-art for the long-awaited Mario Party 9 for Wii. Nintendo has already announced that Mario Party 9 is due to be released March 11th in North America and scheduled to be released sometime in March in Europe.

Each to their own :) but considering the high standards Mario games have, 8 certainly was a let down. However it isn’t a bad game far from it.
yeah i agree, people can have their own favourites, personally my favourites are 1, 3, 4 and 6. I’ve never played 2 and I’ve heard it’s one of the best, 5 wasn’t too good, neither was 7, 8 was better but not as good as others. The best are 4 and 6, mainly 4. So I really hope 9 will be brilliant, and if it doesn’t have online features… (such as playing against people online, like mario kart) then mario party 10 for the Wii U defo shud! Excited either way!
Wow I must admit the box cover has better graphics than the wii or 3ds. Looks like Nintendo miljing this cow dry by pulling out all the gimmicks out.

They made a little mess in the composition, It really looks like ”party” and I like the colors, but I find mario and wario in a strange looking position.

I liked de SMGalaxy concept, like dark-by-night but colorful and shiny characters. If has the style of galaxy , would be cool =) Love when they push the hardware to the limits…
yeah, me too. But Mario party games always explore concepts from a lot of mario games, not only graphically talking. So I think we will see some mini-games with galaxy’s face, a bit of new super mario and all that. It add dynamic to the game, even if it have not a ”identity” just by looking at it, as galaxy.

The only bad thing about MP 8 was the fact that there was no widescreen option. So if you had a widescreen then you we’re forced to play with black bars on the side
no luigi. </3. and mario party 7 was and still is probably the last mario party that was good
this might ave some promise but I heard they changed the format of it a lot in terms of game play

I haven’t owned a Mario Part game since the first one, and I haven’t played any of them since the second one. Perhaps it’s time to give the series another look. I mean heck, it’s hard to miss this one when it’ll be sitting on the shelf!
