Japanese publication The Nikkei has announced that Apple is Japan’s top consumer brand with a staggering 90.5 points (out of 100) for total brand power for its products. The top consumer brand was voted on by the Japanese public. Sadly the report doesn’t mentioned where Nintendo or any of the other video game firms were placed.
Team 17, the development team behind the famed Worms franchise, has announced a new game in the series titled Worms Revolution. The game builds on the original Worms title that was released back in 1995 but comes packed with plenty of new features. Team 17 has revealed that Worms Revolution is in development for “consoles” and PC.
Nintendo Europe has released a new trailer for the forthcoming Wii JRPG Pandora’s Tower. The footage features plenty of action-packed gameplay which showcases the game’s combat system, as well as some of the environments and monsters you’ll face on your uncertain journey. Pandora’s Tower is coming exclusively to Wii on April 13th in Europe.
The Dutch division of Ubisoft has issued a press release for Assassin’s Creed 3 which states that the Wii U version of the game is due to come out at the same time as the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on October 31st. However, I did get a press release from Ubisoft UK two days ago which stated that the game was coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on that date, but the Wii U version has yet to be dated.

Larry D Warren Jr, the artist responsible for the stunning The Legend of Zelda painting, has once again created another masterpiece. His latest piece of art is a tribute to Capcom and features a whole host of characters from the company’s much-loved franchises. The image features Mega Man, Dante and Phoenix Wright amongst others.
Sega Japan has announced that it plans to reorganise its Western operations due to the financial losses the company has acquired. Sega plans to cancel some of its games that are currently in development and concentrate their efforts of popular existing IP’s such as the Sonic series along with Football Manager, Aliens and others.
I announced a couple of weeks back that the next edition of Pokemon Smash will feature brand new Pokemon news. Well, it turns out the news is related to the forthcoming Pokemon Black & White 2. The episode of Pokemon Smash that you need to stay tuned to will air on April 8th. Hopefully there will be plenty of interesting information to report on.
