  2. Nice! My DSLite died a year ago, I dropped it, and if you have a DSLite you probably know what happened. It’s a nice chance to get a new one. (=

    1. i’m sorry 2 here that i dropped my ds lite down the stairs but only a bit of the hinge came off

  3. He probably already has a 3DS. I bought a 3DS at launch last year but that didn’t stop me picking up an XL a couple of months ago to play DS games on after my DS lite died.
The fact is DS games just don’t look good when played on a 3DS, so it makes perfect sense to pick up an XL to play your DS games with.

    1. The difference isn’t that bad. The games look only slightly less colorful & slightly blurrier. Other than that, they play just fine on the 3DS.

  4. Does this mean they discontinued the DS lite? That was costing $99 last I heard. Nintendo’s site doesn’t show the new prices.

  5. Meh, I already have a 3DS. Besides, I’m done with handhelds for a while :P After a DS Lite, PSP 3000, and now a 3DS, I’m taking a break and playing home console games.
