Nintendo Power has revealed that Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow – Mirror Of Fate is coming to the Nintendo 3DS. You may remember that Nintendo Power teased in the last issue that they were announcing a cover story for the generations, well it turns out this is it. Here’s a few details taken from the latest edition of Nintendo Power.
- Deep combat mechanics
- Involves Trevor Belmont
- Fight with Trevor’s version of the Combat Cross
- Strong attacks with X
- Wider-reaching attacks with Y
- Secondary weapons like the boomerang-like glaive and electric bomb
- Use these with A
- Grab enemies with R
- Block and dodge with L
- Involves light and shadow magic returns
- Earn experience points to unlock new combos
- These include launching foes into the air, smashing enemies down to the ground and more
- Includes skeletons, axe-wielding undead and more
sounds good, doesn’t it?
Skeletons with axes? I am SO in for this one.
Castlevania on a 3DS? Hell yeah!!! Although I truly missed the days when Nintendo Power was published by Nintendo of America. Arikawa was a good president, but The Regginator is better!!!!!!

This. Who the hell fights…..hell, with that excuse of an outfit? You cant even call it armor. Regardless, I still look forward to it.
lol kids raging about this new outfit, so the high heels boots, woman long gloves and the shirts with that long skirt-like its a lot better for fighting? hahaha dammit kids and their Ayami Kojima stupid fanatism…
And there’s more, these clothes are clearly based on japanese culture and folklore, and obviously castlevania characters aren’t japanese, excluding (Aria of Sorrow/Dawn of Sorrow)
FINALLY! I can’t wait for this game!!!!! I’ve played every single Castlevania game at least once =D I’ll get this day one!!!!!!!! Or before xD Can’t wait indeed!

So Trevor is there, so is Possible than Alucard(new version) will be here as the rumors say…thus the new canon is teasing a Link between the two(in the Original Canon pre Igarashi, was hinted that Alucard was the Father of Trevor, Explaining some of the Belmont Powers)
But if this Rumor is TRUE….. OMG THAT MEANS THAT EXIST CHANCE THAT THE STARFOX-METROID THING WILL BE TRUE…
Paul Gale, started the rumour about this and Sony Smash Bros Rip-Off… So i’m starting to think that SF+Metroid rumour will be true as well ._.! Holy Shit!

Just what I always wanted, a sequel to the Castlevania Game that took the worst parts of Devil May Cry and God of War and spliced them together into a complete abomination.
Idk about all you guys, but I loved LoS. I thought it was awesome, even if it took a lot of GoW and DMC’s mechanics and ideas. The atmosphere was perfect.

This sounds more like a classic Castlevania than a DS rehash which is SO AWESOME! Totally digging that character design too. Fanart coming soooooon! (by me)
Um its not either of them. From reading the controls, it sounds more like Lord of Shadows, which was a third person action game like God of War.
If its not a 2d scroller its gonna suck trust me.
Can’t wait to get this. Castlevania is a great series and I can’t wait to see what they do on 3DS.
I will pass, I didn’t really like the first Lord of Shadows.
