Warner Bros has just announced that Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm is bringing a new project, Injustice: Gods Among Us to Wii U. The game is a beat-em-up which is based upon the DC Universe.
Injustice stars Justice League characters including Batman, Superman, The Flash and Wonder Woman, as well as villains Harley Quinn and Solomon Grundy. NetherRealm has yet to confirm who else will be making an appearance.

Beat-em-up not a fighting game which is MKvDC
This seems to be a 2D-plain based fighter, as opposed to a 3D one. Smart move on not having it be a crossover, they can focus more on the actual DC roster + they needn’t deal with all the people complaining how it isn’t gory enough.

i am truly excited about this, it has been a while since i played a good multiplayet beat em up. (i’m hoping this will be multiplayer) and i have been dying to play as Wonder Woman in a game that isn’t limited to 1 on 1 Kombat. Also, i would love if they let you play as Black Canary, Supergirl, and Hawkgirl. They better not mess this up. i liked Rise of Sin Tzu (sp?) but i didn’t love it. i wanna love it, dammit!! lol

I hope it does not have that stiff robotic character movement of Mortal Kombat.
That was one of the biggest complaints people had with MK9, I hope they do something about it because it really bugs me as well.
