Wii U Panorama View Announced

Another title for Wii U was announced via Nintendo’s website. It is called Wii U Panorama View, which is a working title.

“Pick up the Wii U GamePad controller and get ready to transform your living room into an exotic location from around the world. By moving the GamePad up, down, left or right, you can look around at all your surroundings and feel like you’re really experiencing these locations in person. You control the viewer’s perspective, making it feel as though you’ve been transported directly to the center of the video’s destination.”

  1. This sounds more like a downloadable game than a retail title. We’ll have to wait and see where they take this. Leave luck to heaven.

    1. Yes, and “nearly” all accessories. I’ll assume that means no CCP due to the Wii U Pro. The games will not be presented in a higher definition.

        1. It causes graphical glitches in games. Some games, like Super Mario Galaxy, will have cutscenes that will look crap in 1080p because they’re pre-rendered at 480p/i. On the Wii U, pre-rendered Wii cutscenes would either be a small rectangle in the middle of the screen, or a stretched, grainy mess if displayed in forced HD.
