Angry Birds Trilogy Coming To Nintendo 3DS

Rovio’s Executive Vice President of Games Petri Järvilehto has officially confirmed that Angry Birds Trilogy is coming to the Nintendo 3DS. Angry Birds Trilogy includes the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio on one cartridge. The game is also coming to Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, this holiday season.

“You can think of the game as the ultimate collector’s edition. There are new cinematics, extras and other entertaining content. In addition all of the existing material has been uprezzed and re-treated for the high-resolution and big screen.”

“The backgrounds have been animated, we’ve added lighting modes, reactive backgrounds, the list goes on and on. We believe that there are a lot of people on the consoles who appreciate a great casual game play experience. This is a game that resonates across a wide audience on many platforms.”

“There have been so many fans asking to be able to play the game on their home console with their friends and family, and so far we haven’t been able to offer anything to them. Now we’re finally able to have a great high quality experience on those platforms.”

    1. Me too, I’ve got all 3 stars in every level possible even Angry Birds Space. Also they’re free for Android and iOS devices, so why to buy it if we’ve already played and finished all possible levels? Sorry, if you want my money you’ll have to wait until the movie it’s released haha.

    1. Same with Wii U. Why aren’t they making a Wii U version?!?!.. I don’t how it work on PS3 and Xbox 360. I suppose you could Xbox SmartGlass for Xbox 360 and PS Vita and PS3 cross play.
      I dunno….. :/

    1. Yeah that’s right. I wanted to buy it because I didn’t have an Android smartphone then, but now that I have and I’ve played all these games and got every star possible, it’s too late for me.

        1. Sure I can after all how else you think got your mother pregnant with you.

She wanted to get rid of you but the dog said no.

  1. No, we don’t want all of them together! We want simply ‘Angry Birds’ DOWNLOADABLE from the eShop for as little as the price gets- what Angry Birds is worth.

    1. I agree. Put them on the eShop for $2 each or whatever they cost, unless the trilogy itself costs no more than $10. I don’t see it working if it’s the usual $40.

  2. I think it would be better on the Wii U, I just can’t see it on the 3DS. I mean, you launch the birds with the slingshot using your stylus. How does that takes advantage of the 3D screen?

    1. You could see a image of the slingshot on the touchscreen while the actuall image is shown on top screen. As you move it on bottum screen you can see it move on the top screen along with the dopted line that guides you. It would probably work the same way with Wii U if you were to use the TV, of course it would probably juust be a gamepad app. You didn’t put much thought in it at all did you?

  4. Why would anybody sit on their couch, turn on their tv, turn on their console and boot up angry birds when the game should only be played in short bursts

  5. 6. I love how everyone is shooting it down already, when you don’t know much about it, and your assuming the price will be crazy. Who’s forcing you to buy this again?

    1. ‘and your assuming the price will be crazy’

      ‘Cartridge’

Yeah. You just can’t sell a cartridge game for less than $10.

  7. First of all where the hell is angry birds space wtf and second why would anybody in their right mind would buy a damn cartdrige of this Game even for 10 dollars? That’s insane you can get all four for 4 Damn dollars on your phone! Who doesn’t have a smartphone these days seriously if not a phone then an iPod touch or something like that??

  10. ye gods not this pile of rubbish i hate this so so so so so so much. i am going to ask again why put this crud on the download store. just no no aaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Oh please. Fair enough if it was a download but if the game works in the exact same way, no amount of levels will make it worth the price of a full cartridge based game.
