Metal Mario is an unlockable character in Mario Kart 7 and is now available to unlock in North American copies of Mario Tennis Open. To unlock him – while on the profile select screen of the game – press up on the control-pad plus the start button (at the same time). And then, scan the QR code above with the outer camera of your Nintendo 3DS.

I always wondered why the hell people want Geno in every freaking Mario game. He’s not even Nintendo’s and he isn’t even interesting.
Oh my god, same, i mean, yeah good game but he not exactly gona do anything. Realistically, the only characters the could put in, a Ridley, King K Rool, Krystal, Possibly Rosalina, Ghiriham, Isaac, a new FE character and some pokemon, everything else would just be a weird one off characters.
None of this Waluigi and Daisy and Toad bullshit, they’re useless.

I really dislike the way Nintendo is acting as if Metal Mario is some sort of seperate character, he’s a powerup, it would be like having Cape Mario, Raccoon Mario or Cloud Mario as seperate characters I mean why not just have it like Super Smash Bros and you can just change your colour to metal if you want.
I mean atleast Shadow Mario since he has different moves and stuff

I’ll also make the same case for Paper Mario who can do things with his paper form regular Mario can’t like transform into a paper airplane with up+B or use assisting characters.

Seems like Metal Mario’s reboot has gotten a lot of attention in the latest Mario titles C:
But all Metal Mario does is create a time paradox by co-exisitng with regular Mario, along with Baby Mario, Baby Peach, and Dry Bowser.

Why has Metal Mario made some kind of resurrection as of late? He was a playable character in Mario Golf 64, sure, and that made sense due to the Mario cast being somewhat smaller back then (they had to invent a bunch of new characters to make up about 40% of that game’s roster!) but he has literally no function in the more recent functions. He’s not a real character, goddamnit. He just seems to be an excuse for Nintendo to fill out their roster without putting much effort; just re-texture Mario and you’re done. Same deal for Baby Luigi, Baby Daisy and Dry Bowser.
