An Infinity Ward engineer’s resume seems to hint that the next edition of the immensely popular Modern Warfare series will be heading to both next generation and current generation platforms. Alongside the currently available consoles there’s an intriguing “TBA” for other unannounced platforms. It seems reasonably likely that we will be seeing the game on Wii U, and at a long-shot the Wii.

I’m going to try to do this, but it’s so hard with your shitty grammar. The game is marketed towards those 17 and up as suggested by the game’s M rating (M stands for mature if you’re too stupid to figure that out, which you probably are). You’ll hear children in online matches on this game just like you do any other online game. And the point of the game is not ‘just more blood and gore and killing people without a reason’. There’s an actual story involved with every game, and the multiplayer is there as an add-on. Go take your stereotypical ‘dis gaem is jus blud and guts bad for kids blah blah blah’ shit elsewhere.

I know more people that have abandoned the main campaign for multiplayer than I do people that have stuck with the 1P mode for the fun of it.

Erm… The story mode is actually just a tutorial for the Multiplayer, just as about every FPS released today which sucks…
While I’m not really into CoD games, I recognize the fact that the franchise is the most popular gaming franchise in the world, and has broken several gaming sales records years in a row.
I also recognize that while a lot of kids do play these games, many, many, teens and adults do as well.
So while I’m not an advocate of the game and would rather see other quality games garner even a bit of the attention and sales that CoD gets, I can’t deny the facts.

Honestly, from all the REAL developer interviews, like THQ (Vigil), Crytek, Ubisoft, the WiiU sounds like a wolf in sheeps clothing. If you start talking about power, Microsoft and Sony will make sure they push it just so its just better then spend money on once again, a similar idea to what Nitendo is doing with the gamepad. People dont buy Nintendo consoles for power, but Nintendo have the cash, and the lessons learned from the WiiU to make it stand on its own.
