Wii U ‘Offers Deeper Experiences And Unique Multiplayer’

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has explained why the Wii U will be a success in Nintendo’s annual financial report. Iwata says that deeper experiences and unique multiplayer modes will establish Wii U as the must-have console for gamers.

“We plan to release the Wii U system, the successor of Wii, in the year-end sales season of 2012.”

“Wii U has a new controller named the Wii U GamePad with a 6.2 inch touchscreen. With the combination of the Wii U GamePad and a TV screen, players can enjoy gameplay that takes advantage of two screens whose positional relationship is not fixed.”

“Also, for multi-player games, Wii U makes asymmetric gameplay possible, which means the role of a player using the Wii U GamePad is different from the other players using the conventional Wii Remote controllers.”

“In this way, we will propose deeper game experiences and new entertainment that people have never had the opportunity to enjoy before.”

    1. The only place the Wii U falls is in the mouth of haters like you. You hate on a machine. One that has caused you no bodily or mental harm, let alone even been released yet. Stop being a chump and let Nintendo fans have there HD console Shit….

  1. same happened with wii.It didnt have HD and it had only a new controller that’s all.I hope wiiU won’t be a simple wii with HD

  2. Let’s hope the games themselves reflect this message. I truly hope nintendoland is packed in with the Wii U because of this, as nintendoland is a truly messed up game. Nobody whatsoever seems to be interested in it, but close to every review it’s always along the lines of “My God, this is actually extremely fun!”.

Packing it in would be the smart move to convey the message of what asymmetric gameplay is all about and how fun it can be! :D

    1. Also bundling nintendoland=more wii u sells. And it shows how the controller works so i hope it’s bundled….otherwise then i hope for a bundle with thay warioware(that game with wario minigames)

  3. The Wii U will be an amazing experience. I’m definitely going to pick one up. The only thing I’m struggling with is what games to buy with it for Christmas (if I’m able to get it before Christmas). Leave luck to heaven.

  4. Nintendo land will definitely be bundled with the Wii U. Smartest move Nintendo would make period. Then advertise that puppy on espn for fathers, lifetime for mothers and cartoon channels for kids. The rest of us in-between will know through the Internet, school, and Nintendo events. Then advertise Mario every where, I mean every where ” Cereal anyone.”

  5. Iwata San, president of Nintendo global, took a 50% salary cut, while Reggie and Shigeru miyamoto took 30% cuts last year. This is when the 3DS was over priced, to show homage and respect to their customers. The then slashed the price of the baby by $70 look at the 3DS now selling like hot cakes. Thanks Nintendo for being humble.

  6. Not trying to be an asshole now but hasn’t Iwata-san and Nintendo already said similar or exactly the same thing a hundred times?

    Tell us something new ffs…

But other than that, the Wii U should be bundled with either Nintendo Life or New Super Mario Bros U.

I rather choose the latter because it has already been done 4 times before…;p

  7. All I want for my Wii U initially is listed below :

    1) Mario Wii U
    2) Nintendo land to be a pack in like Wii play
    3) ACIII
    4) Pikmin 3
    5) Batman Armored edition
    6) Project Cars
    7) FIFA
    8) The ability to play XENOBLADE
and ‘The Last Story’ on the
    Wii U touch screen controller.

    1. FUCK OFF, IM SUCKING THAT PUSSY FIRST, and those nice tits. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! But yeah, FUCK OFF

  8. Wii u will probably convert some sonysofters cuz if they can win without much support what can they do with 70% combined with the classic n games could make it a dream team console i will probably spend several thousands for 8th gen between xl and the u
