Donkey Kong And Lego Batman 2 On eShop This Week

Things turn on their head this week as Mario becomes your enemy in the classic Nintendo title Donkey Kong Jr, on UK Virtual Console for Nintendo 3DS. In this unique role-reversal platformer you’ll take on the role of Donkey Kong’s son Junior and it’s up to you to rescue Dad from Mario’s clutches.

This week also heralds the return of the dynamic duo Batman and Robin in the free LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Demo. A sequel to LEGO Batman: The Videogame, this time they are joined by other familiar heroes such as Wonder Woman and Superman in their quest to prevent the infamous Lex Luthor and The Joker from destroying Gotham City.

              1. It’s good to see many 3rd party developers working with Nintendo…i wish this status would continue and better

  1. Awesome. Keep buildin up that amazin eshop library. As an annoyin villain once said:

“You know what they say, the more , the merrier”

        1. Sonic and other uh… Game gear(?) games have already gotten onto eShop, so it wouldnt be a surprise to see some other stuff, then again, Sega was big during the 16 bit era, and most Virtual console games on eShop(so far) are just GB/GBC and NES

  2. LOL at the people saying thanks for the DK game… I GOT THIS GAME AGES AGO

god bless ambassadors and LOL at the poor shits who got a 3ds after price drop :P

    1. Maybe, but its waaay better to have the real cartridge, I’m not ambassador but I already have most of those GBA games, so I don’t care at all XD

      1. Nintedward . Wiiu . 3ds . 1991 .

true. but apparently the console version packs twice the content as the vita and 3ds version.
some of the other lego games on 3ds however are supposed to be very good.

        1. realy peter1uss you are so annoying,go to trololol somewhere else. Also ive changed my nickname for eva

  3. I’ve never played Donkey Kong Jr. I might get this also it’s good Nintendo are putting more NES games on the 3DS virtual console as of right now there is only four (Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Metroid and Punch-Out!!) not counting the 3D Classics.
Plus I wonder when Zelda II: The Adventure of Link will be on the eShop as well as GBA games.

  4. Got my hopes up for Lego Batman 2, but it’s just the demo on the eShop. I have the demo already, but I want the full game on the eShop! :( Now I has a sad.
