I remember buying my first issue of nintendo power and its petite offerings and read the entire issues front to back and back to front. After reading myvery first issue of nintendo power i went the next day to online and purchased retro monthly magizine with its thick manly spine full of tons of paper made by real people with a passion for video gaming and respect not to sellout and i admitly read the pages of retro gaming mag and thought nintendo power even in its prime nor electronic gaming mothly could touch this bad buy. Igs now 12 years after losing my virginty to retro and retro came on to me by force sorta like a rape of the mind and i never looked back

I have been a subscriber since issue #1. I remember receiving the free Dragon Warrior game. It was my first RPG/JRPG experience and I was hooked. Forever I remain on Team Nester!
My favorite memory is getting a letter published in issue 252 however I forgot to give them my name. Argh!

It saddens me that Nintendo Power is ending, I mean, the WiiU is about to be released, and I was hoping Nintendo Power would be there as well.
I’ll miss it a lot, actually, my favorite was the one with the Skyward Sword cover, the one about the E3 2010.
With all due respect, this feels like a slap in the face to all those who supported Nintendo Power. Instead of asking me about my favorite memories, support it.

I’m fine with the Zelda. A new one every few years is good for me. Plenty of time to play other games in between. Not counting Mario spin offs I think those are all right too, but I don’t like the “New” Super Mario Bros much.

No, Nintendo outsourced the publishing to Future but then revoked the license and refused to give it to a different publisher.

Nintendo Power was the only magazine I trusted for their reviews, and now I’ve got shit to listen too. So I’m either going to waste money buying shit games or I’m going to play titles that I know are good and not stray away from them. Well I ordered like 1 year subscription or somthing once wayyy back then…I really dont rememer what they looked like or even reading them lol so I guess I have no “precious” memories about Nintendopower.
