More or less, I believe that term was pushed by larger music companies to lessen the impact of the wide array of interesting music we got throughout the past decade, particularly from 2006-09 when there was a real hotbed. It’s to their benefit to make the people forget this good music exists under the guise that it’s “pretentious” to like it and make them believe things like Minaj, Gaga and Beiber are current music period, causing those who would hunger for said good music to believe it doesn’t exist. Of course if you’d grab an issue of MOJO sometime, you’d see that’s just not true.
Black keys sounds like a shit group finance by a cheap video game company. They might as well publish sell out ghetto trash music for sellout ashamed of their race sensitive white people. Srsly my iphone i can watch longer movies and music qnd have tons of games like segas rythhm heaven. Nintendo 3ds can play hour long videos but instead opt to give you 10-5 mnute clios of trash smh how pitiful.
