Toward the end of last year, Square Enix registered a couple domain names – AllTheBravest.com and AllTheBravest.net – that left gamers hoping Bravely Default: Flying Fairy was on its way to the West. It turns out the domain names have nothing to do with the publisher’s Nintendo 3DS role-playing game. Instead, Square Enix revealed Final Fantasy: All The Bravest, an action role-playing game that pays tribute to the entire Final Fantasy series, for iOS devices, including the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The iOS game releases tomorrow, January 17th, in the App Store and will cost $3.99.

I still find iOS to be better. But 3DS is good too. It has same amazing games(GOTY might I add is on there), amazing developers and is extremely indie friendly. I’m even building a game for it at the moment.
Naaah, IOS doesn’t compare to 3DS or Vita AT ALL. I would much rather play DS , PSP or even GBA than IOS as they have much higher quality games.

I realize that iOS has good games on it, but the majority of games on there pander to “casual” gamers and instill buyers with a sense of false value. Which in turn devalues full retail games and hurts the games industry as a whole. I have an iPhone and I play games on it, but I have yet to say “wow, this game wouldn’t benefit from being made for a console that has physical buttons that don’t take up screen real estate!” And I won’t! Because as great and beautiful as some of the games are for iOS the control schemes for all blow hard! Make mine a real console, be it portable or home, instead of soft buttons anyday.
It may have something to do with my comfort zone , But I have played friends and family’s IOS games and they are dog shit. look how it ruined theatrythm for example.

Looks like they based a majority of the sprites on FF5 sprites. I mean, most of the male jobs in the picture look like Bartz.
I loved Final Fantasy 5. However, I will not purchase an iPhone just for that game. If it came to the 3ds or something like that, I would purchase it in a heartbeat.
Don’t understand why Square Enix isn’t localising bravely default. It’s a big RPG game for the 3DS and has done well Japan. At least bring it out on eshop for us.
