After having finished a hands-on experience with Wii U-exclusive LEGO City Undercover, CVG‘s Chris Scullion said the upcoming sandbox-style video game consists of 15 missions. While 15 may not seem like much for such a ‘huge’ game, Scullion said the first mission took him roughly an hour to complete. Other than the main missions, there are literally hundreds of items to collect or unlock, including 450 Gold Bricks, 40 Red Bricks and 110 Vehicles. On top of all that, to completely finish the game, players must find a total of 290 characters, and they have to put together all 65 Super Builds. LEGO City Undercover launches in North America on March 18th and in Europe on the 28th of that month.
This game looks epic. The missions are like an Hour plus before people start freaking out. ANd there is an amazing amount of collectibles , so the game looks like it has a fair few hours of lasting apeal. And as everyone knows a lot of time on Sandbox games are spent free roaming. There is helicopters and boats and motorbikes.
Game looks immense , the lego formula plus their most ambitious game yet , I can’t see what can go wrong.

I LOVED the first Lego star wars games on PS2 it was up there for me as for as PS2 games go. After seeing the same idea rehashed over and over again but replaced wth Harry potter and Indiana Jones , the serious became monotonous and stale to me. I’ve been dreaming of A lego game like this. One that doesn’t use a horrible franchise like harry potter to disguise awfull gameplay. And Lego city undercover looks like the ultimate answer to that.

No it’s not. The fact that lego games SUFFER in quality by being Multiplats is a major issue.
They’re built for the wii and then made HD on PS3 and 360 with some added effects which come out as framerate messes. Then it’s watered down to 3DS which is then Ported to PSV.
This game being exclusive for Wiiu means , The game SHOULD be a lot more solid than say the FUCKING MESS lego lord of the rings was. And with proper attention to the gamepad , it should bring some new fun stuff too.
