Animal Crossing fans have discovered that Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the Nintendo 3DS is currently priced at $34.99 on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Nintendo 3DS games generally retail for around $39.99, so it’s a little surprising that a huge first party title like Animal Crossing: New Leaf should retail for $34.99. Animal Crossing: New Leaf is due to be released in North America on June 9th.

Thanks, Ahmad

      1. all the nintendo fags seems to, you can pop out of the screen and tell people i know to shut up because i cant believe how much people actually give a damn about this

    1. Pitfall near your door

Don’t buy it then, its your call on what you want and if you dont want to buy it then why complain.

    1. I say yes, but that is just from my personal experience with previous games in the series. If you are sure then buy/borrow one of the previous games like AC: Wild World for the original DS which I spent a lot of time playing and enjoyed.

    2. Yes. It’s hard to discern if you’ll like it by watching gameplay, you really just need to buy it and try it out yourself.

  1. $34.99 (US) or £34.99 (UK)? There is a big difference when converted into different currencies. If it is $34.99 (USO) then that means roughly converted AC:New Leaf will cost around £22 (UK) which doesn’t sound right to me as 3DS games generally retail in the UK for £35 – £40 depending where you shop.

    1. you should take a “leaf” out of this guys book, he knows his stuff!…….

      yeah…that joke was unbeleafable

    2. Exchange rates don’t work the way you want them to. Infact Jelly bean is still to this day trying to save up a million pounds worth of Auzzie dollars so he can get his Wiiu XD. I kid i kid.

Point being You say Tomater we say T mah toe . You pay $350 for a Wiiu deluxe at launch we pay £300+

      1. I struggle to buy a game once a month in Australia because my wages only just cover my bills, meaning I have the occasional $50-70 left over a month.

  2. Hmm….I wonder if that means Nintendo’s dropping the price for all future 3DS games. Kind of odd considering they don’t have to do anything to improve sales for the 3DS.

      1. I can’t even tell if you’re a troll or not. I don’t even care if you are because for some reason, you are entertaining.

  3. The retail version of this game is listed for $34.96 on Amazon. So it is still not cheaper to buy digital.
