Wolfenstein: A New Order was announced earlier today for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and next generation consoles. Polygon writer, Brian Crescente asked Bethesda’s Pete Hines whether there is any chance the first person shooter could come to Wii U. Hines replied by saying that they intentionally aren’t being specific on what platforms “next-gen” covers. Would you purchase Wolfenstein: A New Order if it was announced for Wii U?

Next gen doesn’t mean Nintendo. And it’s too attractive of a game to be appreciated by those that Nintendo refers to as “their core gamers”.
When Wolfeinstein came out on PC nintendo gamers were around. Sony did not exist, for it was still a nintendo dream at the time. Xbox, let me stop, for microsoft and xbox are an abomination. This was built for nintendo and PC and that is a fact. Us core nintendo gamers are the reason RPGs and other genres of games that are not FPSs still exist. We are not drawn in my mediocre FPS games like Crysis 3 or dead island Reptide.

Here’s how the dictionary defines it: “A group of individuals belonging to a specific category about the same time.” So let’s place this with consoles shall we. A group of consoles living together simultaneously during a certain time period. If you think the Wii U sucks or if you think it’s “kiddy”, that’s your opinion. We the veterans of the NES, SNES, commodores and Atari Amiga 500 shall educate you the definition of real gaming. The Wii U was next gen as soon as they, Nintendo announced that it uses 1/2 the wattage of the ancient 7 generation consoles the PS3 and Xbox360.

Well here is one reason, the game hasn’t sold enough copies on the Wii U yet for them to spend the money creating DLC for. But give it time and we’ll soon see some DLC in the future ^^

You’re a dick. I have a Wii U and I love it, but a lot of major game developers are having troubles with the U’s CPU and having it run engines like Frostbite 3. I just said I wanted it too and you got super pissed off .-.
I would hope that if the next Wolfenstein is coming to Wii U that could maybe mean The Evil Within is coming as well. For all we know these games and more could have been coming for a while and Nintendo is just saving them for either their Pre-E3 Direct or some shiyeet, or in E3 itself. Kind of makes you excited to think about what they could really be planning. Especially with games that are heavily rumoured to be coming to Wii U like GTA5. Dayum, Foo’s.
