The Project X Zone demo is now live on the North American eShop. The story for the game begins when a rift in time and space suddenly appears, a doorway to various universes is opened allowing both heroes and villains from different worlds to cross paths. Players will be able to take control of a massive selection of heroes including favourites such as Jin and Xiaoyu (TEKKEN), Toma and Cyrille (Shining Force EXA), to X and Zero (Mega Man X) and discover the cause of the rift and stop evil from coming through and spreading into their world. Enjoy over 50 characters from 29 franchises from Namco Bandai, Capcom & Sega,including Street Fighter, Tekken, Darkstalkers, Devil May Cry, Sakura Wars, Tales of Vesperia and many more.

Okay, I tried the demo. It’s challenging; keeping track of your resources and using skills wisely to keep your units healthy is a key aspect if you want to go through a battle without losing a single ally. The music is wonderful and the variety of attack options during battle makes every encounter a thrill. Heck, they even give me option for units being struck at, which is a huge blessing.
I can safely say that this is, so far, the only tactics RPG I’ve ever liked.
you got all that from the demo? lol. I just tried it and to me it just seemed move your character here, attack and repeat. i didnt really see any skill needed to play this.

The demo was cool but I do not completely understand how to actually get critical hits
you chain you’re attacks, pressing: A, Right+A, Left+A, Down+A, & Up+A.
the attacks are timed, if you just Button Mash, it wont help to get the crital hits.
the awesome thing is that chaining attacks properly gets you more XP, and you spend your XP on Assist, Skills, Countering, Defending, or Specials.
the game is actually more intricate than i expected. although i hate Crapcom, Im picking this up new, to support Sega & Namco lol. That and the demo was actually fun.
My only complaint, 5 fucking tries on the demo.
oooh finally! Been waiting for this I wanna know if it’s worth getting, there are rather mixed reviews about the game from Japan but that limited edition for 40 bucks thing is very tempting to my collector self xD

Was so mad when Europe got this demo and not us. But the wait is over :D I’m so excited to play as Ichiro from Sakura Wars as well as the Resident Evil characters! I already beaten the demo, and just pre ordered it at gamestop. Can’t wait for the LE. This game is gonna be sweet! That is by the time I get it, if I’m out of my Animal Crossing coma… (^_^)/~
