Scribblenauts Unmasked Launch Date Confirmed

scribblenauts unmasked supermanScribblenauts Unmasked – A DC Comics Adventure has been confirmed by Warner Bros. for a September 24 launch date in North America. The puzzle title – where you control the player Maxwell – will release on PC, Wii U and 3DS, and comes with a full range of DC characters, ranging from the most loved to the downright quirky and obscure. The game also features 14 different variations of Superman to tie in with his 75th Anniversary – including the Man of Steel, Man of Tomorrow, Dark Side Superman and Speeding Bullets Superman – so there’s plenty of choice if you want the red-caped, red-booted superhero to fight by your side.

Developed by 5th Cell, Scribblenauts Unmasked has still yet to find an appropriate date for Europe, however. Warner Bros. has not made any further comments as to why there’s been such a delay on the series – as Scribblenauts Unlimited, which was released in North America last year, has still yet to surface. We’re hoping both Warner Bros. and 5th Cell explain the hold-up soon.

    1. Indeed, this is what makes people not buy the Wii U right away…

Too many delays and other complications…

  1. For the love of god im tired of this shit. No more these kind of lame babysitting games thank you. I mean why this shit has to come to nintendo console why cant we have good ones like FFXV,Destiny etc. Why 3rd party games on U are lame or shit all the time? 1st party games and few exclusives seem to be the only interesing thing about U. I want lots of Jrpg goodness on wii u, but no all we have is some fuckin kiddie garden scribblenaut game. Sure X is comin but is there any other good Jrpg comin to U? Im just tired that all we have is announcements of some stupid indie games that are aimed for low budget mental problematic losers!!!!! Or some otherway stupid game like scribblenaut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn. Well atleast there is still 3ds. Ok im gonna relax now, gonna take it easy from now on. Im just stressin too much. Everythin will be okay. HEE-HEE-HEE

    1. Fire Emblem x Shin Megami, Monolith’s X, Bayonetta 2, plus The Last Story 2 has already been teased by Mistwalker. It’s obviously very in early development. Let’s not forget we still have 3rd parties Deux Ex Directors Cut, Resident Evil Revelations, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Batman Arkham City, Batman Arkham Origins, Assassins Creed 3, Assassins Creed IV, ZombiU, Monster Hunter Ultimate 3, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, WatchDogs.

  2. @silvershadowfly / the writer of this article:
Nintendo of Europe is publishing Scribblenauts in Europe, not Warner Bros. They delayed the game a few days before release to “implement some changes”. So don’t expect Warner Bros. to comment on the releasedate of Unlimited/Unmasked.

  3. Just because a game is fun and cheery does not make it a baby game. Oh but you people are most likely CoD lovers who love the same exact thing without even an added challenge to it. That is a baby game. A game where the person needs no skill at all. Heck go on CoD online and hear the people act like little kids while the Pokemon players are a lot more mature. Get out of your immature mindsets and actually learn how to act online and then learn how to act in the real world. Oh and look at that! I made my point without swearing once. Goes to show educated people can get their point across without coming off as a massive dick.
