These lists always show just how underrated the N64 is. Easily the best console of all time imo, Super Mario 64 and OoT were just amazing!

Smash Bros. Brawl should DEFINITELY be in there! But really, its so hard to make a Top 20 games list when there are just so many amazing games out there. If it was my list, I’d add InFamous, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Ratchet & Clank 3 and Twilight Princess in there too!

brawl was considered a disappointment when standing next to melee. Double Dash was and twilight princess were both somewhat meh on the ratings list as well.
as for the guy saying banjo kazooie, have you played the original??? It was horrible, well not horrible, but ridiculously difficult. I only beat it after I finally downloaded it for an emulator with save states… I consider myself a pretty competent platformer, but that game is ridiculous.

There are some things I opinionatedly disagree with this list. Chrono Trigger should have been in top 10. Final Fantasy 4,6,9.12 are all better than 7 anyway. Maybe FF7 has the most fanbases since it introduced many people into jrpgs in the PS1/N64/Saturn era. I can’t blame them.

i know many hate WoW for its community but that’s not really the fault of the game
it’s a pretty good game all things considered.. i didn’t enjoy it but i can see why others do

I just wasn’t a huge fan of Galaxy. Don’t get me wrong, I did like the game and it was a solid way to start Mario off on the Wii, but I actually preferred 64 and Sunshine. 64…nuff said. We all know why it’s legendary. Liking Sunshine more than Galaxy may be controversial, but I loved how unique the game was. Adding in F.L.U.D.D. was a genius move on Nintendo’s part

sadly shenmue had a very small install base and thus very likely not many people voted for it

A very good list. Note what their best game of the last generation (i.e. Wii/Ps3/360) was. Years from now, I think the games that will be most remembered from this generation are the SMG games. There’s no bells or whistles to them, they are excellently designed games that will stand the test of time.
dark souls? really? i can even agree with WoW in this list.. while i didn’t enjoy it one bit i can see its merits and the huge effort that went into designing the game world and gameplay mechanics and how all that affected the game world

Goldeneye is on here (which I still love) but not Super Metroid?? It should be in the top ten, if not top five. There are many games on here that do not deserve to be rated higher than SM. If Chrono Trigger is not too old to be on this list, then there is no excuse.
Vice City and Red Dead Redemption are not nearly as timeless, and The Last of Us is too new to be on such lists. Wait for the hype wnd novelty to wear off first before you can know how good it Really is in the big picture.
