GameStop Is Now Listing Bayonetta 2 For May

Popular US retailer GameStop have now listed Platinum Games long-awaited Bayonetta 2 with a May 1st release date. Neither Nintendo or Platinum have mentioned a firm release date, so this should simply be considered a placeholder. Hopefully we should hear more information about Bayonetta 2 in a forthcoming Nintendo Direct.

Thanks, Retrogaminglord and Keima

  1. One of the few good/excitin games for WiiU. I hope they take their time so it can live up to the hype. This is one of those great exclusives that arent the same old Mario/Zelda which is good thing, i hope it does well in every area.

  3. I just hope they’re working on the Bayo 1. Never played this game before.

By the way, just got my Wii U last friday.

  4. We need to hear more about this and x. Nintendo need to bring new and old IP. But they need to be evolved and updated. A new ice climbers that was a RPG ware you explored mountens would be cool, like a family friendly skyrim.
They also need star fox and Metroid. Honestly I agree that they should buy both platinum games and Sega, then have them work on T and M rated games, as well as more crossovers, and new ip

  5. One of the reasons I bought a Wii U was for Bayonetta 2. THe sooner this game comes out the better. Hopefully we also hear of Bayonetta 1 coming to the eShop. I would LOVE to play that game again on the Wii U! :D

    1. Either its not coming, or they are being real hush hush about it.
Maybe if 2 did well, they might port it. And Sega would most probably do some very bad decisions with the franchise.

And I bought Wii U solely because of Bayonetta, but I have bought a lot of other games as well, which I would have never bought, if there wasn’t Bayo 2.
So I hope Nintendo does not give up on Platinum Games based on the performance of 2 games.

      1. Especially because Platinum is KNOWN for niche titles that typically sell poorly, but are BEAUTIFULLY made. Platinum games is in another league when compared to other video game developers.

        They are God tier.

  6. May 1st is a Thursday. Nothing more than placeholder by GameStop who does this all the time. Highly unlikely it’ll come out on any day other than a Sunday which is Nintendo’s usual choice for release dates. Monday is possible and in rare cases a Friday but almost definitely not a Thursday.

    1. Nintendo has released games on days other than Sunday. 3D World and ALBW was released on a Friday, Fire Emblem Awakening was released on a Monday, Sonic Lost Worlds was on a Tuesday, Wii Party U was on a Friday as well.

      There are others.

  9. After Platinum Games finishes Bayonetta 2, I hope they make Vanquish 2 and Madworld 2 for Wii U and I hope Platinum Games makes 3DS game too.

  13. So much about these gadgets revolves around style and being an early-adopter.
Try to use large bags; it will be easier to cut smaller
shapes out of larger pieces than add two pieces together.
    Its weight is 122 grams and casing measures 111 x 51 x 13.
