Call of Duty: Ghosts on Wii U has received a new patch from Treyarch. The latest update for the first-person shooter adds the Free Fall multilplayer map, which is available to download for free. It also solves several stability issues and implements a number of fixes – all of which are listed on the game’s official thread. The Wii U version of Call of Duty: Ghosts was made by Treyarch, whereas Infinity Ward handled the other versions of the title.

I know. What a shock that they now changed their minds. This update might jump the sales a bit more for Wii U version. But they should’ve kept their word on Wii U pre-order bonus from the start with BO2. If so, the sales would’ve been better than it is now.
I hope now Activision has realized that mistake and the real reason why Wii U port sales sucked.

Yes its far late but also not impossible. They can update BO2 Nuketown into the game which would make the existing owners and maybe some more new ones a bit happy.
If they would’ve held their end on offering the free maps for Wii U versions from the beginning, the sales would’ve been better and more DLC support would’ve been possible. But I must say I’m shocked to see them changing their minds now. Something or someone must’ve made them rethink this move.

I liked Black ops 2 on Wii U, but not enough people bought it or played it, I am hestitent to buy Ghosts because so few played Black ops 2 on Wii U. The Wii had Goldeneye and Black Ops and I loved those games.
Ghost has a decent community, with over 1000 people online at like 3 in the morning, when I usually play over the weekend. While this may be low compared to other versions of the game, at least it’s possible to find a match at any time during the day.

Amazing News, quite funny really was going to sell my copy this weekend, decided not to because I would end up spending money on DLC with the PS3 version. Quite happy its a Free update as well, the way it was done was through the eShop as well, so maybe they are learning how to use Nintendo’s complex system in terms of DLC and Paid DLC.
