New Mario Maker Footage From Game Center CX SP Emerges With Shigeru Miyamoto

We’ve got some brand new footage of the long-awaited Mario Maker which was taken directly from Game Center CX SP at NicoNico Chokaigi 2015. The event was a Super Mario 30th Anniversary special and featured two games, which were the original Super Mario Bros and Mario Maker. In the video you can witness Shinya Arino playing Super Mario Bros with the DanceDance Revolution mat, which is rather amusing. The second part showcases Mario Maker on the Wii U. Shinya Arino made three custom levels before the event for three special guests to play their way through. The third guess is none other than Shigeru Miyamoto. Be sure to check out all the fun and games in the video, above.

  1. Damn, I didn’t know the pollution was THAT bad in [parts of] Japan. I didn’t think it was nearly as bad as China or India. You hear about those countries all the time, but Japan? I mean- half the people had masks on. Was a little sad.

Otherwise, it was a cute video. The swimming mega goomba was a nice touch. Shame we have to wait till after summer to play this, though.

    1. It depends really. Japan is strict on recycling, an trash. They like to say very healthy there. people are using masks to prevent radiation exposure, and viruses

        1. But the viruses don’t spread in the first place, because they’re wearing masks.

Plus, people with compromised immune systems won’t catch it and get complications or die from it.

By your logic, we should give everyone the virus, killing some, just so that they have immunity to that one specific virus.

But really, the reason they wear masks is to prevent others from missing work and to be really polite. Japan is a very work-oriented culture, and it would be considered rude to make someone sick and make them miss work.

Coincidentally, suicide is a big issue in Japan:

            >>>I didn’t say we should infect everyone, I’m just saying that in the long run, it’s next to useless>>>

          2. There’s something called “vaccinations” which is to give your immune systems “footprints” of the same virus so when the actual strain infects the person, the immune system will recognize and fight the disease.

Unfortunately, the Anti-Vaccine crowd believe the vaccines cause autism, though it has been proven time and time again there is no such link.

              1. They’re fucking idiots. Vaccines don’t tend to cause bodily problems unless and ONLY when that individual has a reaction to such material but that’s a very slim chance it’ll happen. And what fucking dumbass believes vaccines causes Autism as if they even know WTF it is? It’s a different class of mental disorder revolving socialism especially. Vaccines don’t effect the brain unless you would be stupid enough to inject something strange into the brain like lead.

                          >>>At least we are not the same primitive cattle as they all are>>>

              2. Avoiding viruses is the best cure. You do not want to catch them. Yes, your body builds immunity, but so do the viruses. They mutate, and evolve into different, harder to combat strains. If you never catch the virus in the first place, it’s less likely they will mutate into a more potent strain. In fact, if everyone wore masks and avoided viruses, they would eventually die, because they can only survive so long without a host…

So on the contrary, avoiding viruses is absolutely the best way to fight them.

            1. Looks like somebody already answered my inquiry, about a half hour before you decided to post, riddie. There’s really no need to mindlessly retort what somebody else said, in a sarcastic tone.

        2. September can’t come soon enough!!! Seriously, I am extremely excited for this game and to see what else Nintendo has planned for Mario’s 30th Anniversary…

            1. Im sorry, but why is that racist? so is also racist when someone speaks spanglish making fun of mexicans? or you get offended just because is a japanese person?

        3. Does ms and sony even have any game designers that play modded versions of their 30yr old games in font of thousands of people in a contest?
