LEGO Lord Of The Rings E3 Trailer For Wii, 3DS & Nintendo DS

Explore Middle-earth in an epic and thrilling LEGO videogame adventure for the entire family. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group today announced LEGO The Lord of the Rings, the latest addition to the wildly successful LEGO videogame series that brings to life the legendary fantasy saga by J.R.R. Tolkien.

The game will be available for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation system, the Wii system, the Nintendo DS hand-held system, the Nintendo 3DS hand-held system, PlayStationVita system and PC in fall 2012.

LEGO The Lord of the Rings is based on The Lord of the Rings motion picture trilogy and follows the original storylines of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Now the entire family can team up in pairs as adorable LEGO The Lord the Rings minifigures to experience countless dangers, solve riddles and battle formidable foes on their journey to Mount Doom.

Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park Announced For Nintendo 3DS & DS

Mind Candy and Activision Publishing are teaming up once again to deliver a new game in the immensenly popular Moshi Monsters franchise. Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park is the followup to the Nintendo DS game Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Zoo.

The game is developed by Black Lantern Studios and invites players to restore the legendary Moshi theme park to its former glory. Players progressively unlock six zones by successfully building attractions and rescuing the scattered Moshlings. Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park will be released on Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS in the fall.

Nintendo Keeps Its Promises

Kotaku has made a list of all announcements and pledges that Nintendo made during E3 2011, and whether they fulfilled their promises. During last year’s E3, Nintendo talked about the eShop for the 3DS and how it will contain a search function and game demos – the promise was kept.

Many plans for The Legend of Zelda’s 25th anniversary were scheduled for all of 2011, which included the symphony orchestras and the release of many Zelda games including the free download of Four Swords – this promise was also kept. There are many more examples on Kotaku’s list and for the most part, Nintendo fulfilled its promises.

Exciting New Details For Pokemon Black & White 2 (Spoilers)

Japanese magazine CoroCoro has revealed some new information about the highly anticipated Pokemon Black & White 2. Images which were posted in the magazine show that you’ll be reunited with some old friends.

The wandering Champion in the original Pokemon Black & White Alder shows up at the start of the game to ask the player to follow him on an exciting and unspecified mission. Cheren will appear as a Normal-type gym leader and Bianca will return as a friend to Professor Juniper who gives you your starter Pokemon at the start of the game.

As expected it has been revealed that one knows exactly where N has disappeared to in Pokemon Black & White 2. Other details include the fact that new Sacred Beast forms of Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus will be available in the game. CoroCoro has also announced that we will be seeing a new Professor featured in the game who’s named Professor Burnett.

New details have emerged regarding the Pokemon World Tournament, which will allow you to test your wits against previous gym leaders and champions. Returning figures include the Brock, Misty, Lance, Volkner, Blue, Steven, Janine, Blaine and Giovanni among others. Pokemon Black & White 2 will be coming to North America and Europe later this year.

Nintendo 3DS Outsold The DS By 1 Million Units At This Point In Either Platforms Lifecycle

NPD analyst Anita Frazier has explained that the Nintendo 3DS has outsold the Nintendo DS by roughly 1 million units during their respective first 14 months in the market. Frazer then went on to say that ”the DS went on to become the best-selling gaming hardware system ever.” Nintendo has stated that it has sold around 4.5 million Nintendo 3DS systems in the United States during its first year of availability.

Nintendo Slashes Nintendo DSi & Nintendo DSi XL Prices

Two of Nintendo’s top-selling video game systems are getting attractive new prices in North America. Effective May 20, the suggested retail price for the larger Nintendo DSi XL will be $129.99 and the suggested retail price for Nintendo DSi will be $99.99.

Both the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL systems come pre-loaded with a variety of fun software, including Flipnote Studio, Nintendo DSi Camera and Nintendo DSi Sound. Nintendo DSi XL comes with additional pre-installed games and applications, including Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Math and Photo Clock.

Wayforward Confirms Adventure Time Game For Nintendo 3DS And DS

Acclaimed development studio Wayforward has officially confirmed that it’s creating a brand new Adventure Time game for the Nintendo 3DS and the Nintendo DS. The game is set to be titled Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d you steal our garbage?! The game is under development at Wayforward but the story is from series creator Pendleton Ward. Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d you steal our garbage?! will be out in the Fall.

Finn and Jake wake up one morning to find their trash stolen by the Ice King. Jake couldn’t care less about half-eaten bananas, crumpled up burrito wrappers, and old chicken diapers – but when they find out the Ice King is using their stolen goods to construct a Garbage Princess, the heroes embark on a fantastical adventure to teach him a lesson. Players will control Finn and Jake as they journey through the Land of Ooo.

Pokemon Black & White 2 Will Use Global Link & Other Details

Pokemon website Serebii is reporting that Pokemon Black & White 2 will utilise Global Link. New features will be added to the website including a rebrand of the Battle Union alongside confirmation that the Dream World will be making a return to Pokemon Black & White 2.

It’s also been revealed that the time cut-off between sessions will reduce from 24 hours to 20 hours. There will also be new areas added, including one that is titled ‘Cool Hole’. There’s also a special feature for those owning the original Pokemon Black & White and the latest addition in the series, though the details have yet to be confirmed.

N-Space Isn’t Developing Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 For Handhelds

Development studio n-Space has confirmed that it has no plans to bring the forthcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 to handheld platforms. The news will come as a disappointment to many as the developer has a long association with developing handheld entries within the Call of Duty franchise.
