The special edition The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword bundle is now available to pre-order on Amazon. The special limited edition bundle includes a copy of the game, a CD featuring selected orchestral arrangements of iconic music spanning the history of the franchise and a rare golden Wii Remote Plus controller bearing the Hylian Crest. It’s available now to pre-order for $69.99.
Pre-orders for Star Fox 64 3D on the Nintendo 3DS soared on Amazon after yesterdays official price cut. This week Star Fox 64 3D held a 28 percent sales increase to rank at No. 170 in Amazon’s Video Games division. Star Fox 64 3D is released September 9th in the United States and Europe.
As I’m sure most of you are aware today is the first day of the official Nintendo 3DS price cut. Thankfully the majority of retailers have acknowledged this and are selling the Nintendo 3DS at a dramatically reduced price. Tesco are selling the Nintendo 3DS for £115 and now Amazon are selling it for exactly the same price. Who is thinking about picking up a super cheap Nintendo 3DS today?
Amazon US are rather strangely emailing customers who pre-ordered Mondao (Xenoblade Chronicles) that their orders will be shipped out August 28th. Nintendo of America has so far refused to say whether the game is coming to the United States. It should also be mentioned that the game didn’t feature on yesterdays product list from Nintendo.

You may have read that earlier today Amazon had pulled the Cosmo Black Nintendo 3DS from sale due to design issues with their current inventory. Well, you can now breathe a huge sigh of relief as the Cosmo Black Nintendo 3DS console is back on sale on Amazon. Good news for both Amazon and consumers.
“We received customer feedback that there may be an inventory issue with the Cosmo Black Nintendo 3DS. The integrity of the product is not under review. Customers are still able to purchase the Amazon.com offer of the Aqua Blue Nintendo 3DS, however the Amazon.com offer of [the] black Nintendo 3DS has been removed until the inventory issue is resolved. There is no problem with the Cosmo Black Nintendo 3DS units themselves. This is an internal inventory problem that was brought to our attention from customer feedback and we are looking into it and will resolve as soon as possible.” *Resolved*
Earlier today I reported that Amazon has temporarily discontinued sales of the Cosmo Black Nintendo 3DS. The product was highlighted by a ‘item under review’ message. Thankfully a member of Neogaf contacted an Amazon representative to find out why they have temporarily discontinued the product. Here’s the answer he was given:

I’m not entirely sure about the reasoning behind this but Amazon has stopped offering the Cosmo Black Nintendo 3DS. If you go to the product page you’ll be greeted with the ‘Item under review’ message. Whether this has something to do with users reporting problems with the device remains to be seen. Hopefully it’s nothing.

Amazon UK have announced that the Nintendo 3DS has become the most pre-ordered video games system in the company’s history.
According to the online retailer Nintendo 3DS pre-orders are 56 percent stronger than the Nintendo Wii, 20 percent stronger than the Playstation 3 and an incredible 255 percent stronger than they were for the Nintendo DSi.
“It’s unusual for a handheld console to attract this amount of excitement in the run up to launch.”

The Mario 25th Anniversary edition Nintendo Wii has scaled the pre-order charts at popular online retailer Amazon.
The limited edition red Nintendo Wii is currently experiencing a 52 percent sales increase on Amazon which now ranks the console at Number 17 in the company’s video games division.
The Nintendo DS and the Nintendo Wii have officially dominated Amazon’s Top 25 Gaming Products of 2009 says the popular online retailer.
The top eight spots on Amazon’s Top 25 Gaming Products of 2009 were filled by Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS consoles, games and accessory’s. Three of the top titles weren’t even released in 2009, thus proving the longevity of Nintendo games.
