Developed by Game Freak, Harmo Knight can be purchased via the Japanese Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS. And its download size is almost as big as the downloadable version of New Super Mario Bros. 2. Harmo Knight takes a little over 2000 blocks of memory from an SD card and costs roughly $18, which makes it the most expensive Nintendo eShop exclusive title to date.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 Takes Almost An Hour To Download

Siliconera was curious to see how long it would take to download New Super Mario Bros. 2 onto a North American Nintendo 3DS. They downloaded the game from the Nintendo eShop and have concluded that it took 46 minutes and 23 seconds to complete the file transfer. New Super Mario Bros. 2 requires 2,725 blocks (or 340 MB) to download. The game will be released in Europe on August 17th, Australia on August 18th, and North America on August 19th.

Download Size For New Super Mario Bros. 2 Revealed

Starting this week, Japanese retailers will be selling download cards for two Nintendo 3DS games, New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Demon Training, which will be released in Japan on July 28th. The cards reveal the download sizes of both titles. New Super Mario Bros. 2 needs 2,950 blocks, which is equivalent to 370 MB, and Demon Training requires 1,600 blocks (200 MB).
