Seven Nintendo Related Titles In Japanese Top Ten

This week’s Media Create sales charts are now in from Japan. Tomodachi Collection: New Life has been pushed aside this week for Summon Night 5 for the PlayStation Portable. In total there are seven games for Nintendo platforms in the Japanese top ten. The Nintendo 3DS continues to be the best-selling video game device in Japan, while the Wii U sees sales dip once again. Hopefully Wii U sales momentum will pick up after E3. Here’s the Japanese software and hardware charts.

Six Nintendo 3DS Games In Japanese Top Ten

This week’s Media Create sales charts are in from Japan. Tomodachi Collection, which is exclusive to Nintendo 3DS, is the best-selling game in Japan once again. The life simulation is closely followed by the well-received Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. The Nintendo 3DS remains the best-selling system, although the Wii U has seen sales dip once again. Here’s the Japanese software and hardware charts.

This week’s Media Create sales charts have come in from Japan. Tomodachi Collection: New Life was the best-selling game this week selling an impressive 208,814 units. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon clung onto second place, swiftly followed by Animal Crossing: New Leaf. The Nintendo 3DS was the best-selling hardware this week, beating both the PlayStation Vita and the PlayStation 3. Here’s the Japanese sales charts.

This week’s UK individual formats chart are now in. The well-received Luigi’s Mansion 2 and LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins for Nintendo 3DS remain in the UK top ten. Luigi’s Mansion 2 has climbed from number nine to number five and LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins has climbed from number six to number four. Not a bad week for the Nintendo 3DS. Sadly, there’s no Wii U titles in the UK individual formats chart this week.

Tomodachi Collection And Nintendo 3DS Continue To Rule Japan

tomodachi collection new lifeThis week’s Media Create sales charts are in from Japan. Tomodachi Collection: New Life for the Nintendo 3DS remains the best-selling video game in Japan, selling 145,000 units. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon managed to sell 38,884 units, which has kept it sitting pretty at number three in the software charts. The Wii U is still struggling in the hardware charts as sales were slightly down this week. The console still sold 8,262 units which just placed it higher than Sony’s ageing PSP. Tomodachi Collection And Nintendo 3DS Dominate Japan

This week’s Media Create sales figures are in from Japan. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon has been knocked off the top spot by Tomodachi Collection: New Life which sold around 405,000 copies. Tomodachi Collection: New Life gave the Nintendo 3DS XL a significant sales boost this week as the handheld sold 57,000 units, which is more than double what it sold the previous week. NPD: Here’s The Best-Selling Games In US During March

The NPD group has revealed the top ten best-selling games in the United States during the month of March. The well received Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon charted respectably at number six. The best-selling game of the month was Bioshock Infinite which was released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Sadly, Lego City: Undercover and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate didn’t make the top ten. This weeks Japanese hardware and software sales are now in. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon continues to be the best-selling software and the Nintendo 3DS remains the best-selling hardware. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is number one for the fourth week running and it sold another 56,000 units. Wii U continues to struggle as it only managed to sell 9,984 units this week compared to 14,783 units the previous week. Here’s the Japanese software and hardware charts.

UK Charts: Luigi’s Mansion 2 Remains In Top Five, Lego City Slips Again

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon remains the best-selling Nintendo 3DS title this week as it remains at number five in the UK individual formats charts. Wii U exclusive LEGO City: Undercover didn’t fare quite as well as it slipped from number twenty-five to number thirty-five this week. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon continues to be the best-selling game in Japan for the third time running. This week the game sold 68,423 units and has sold a total of 459,000 units since going on sale on March 20th.
