Japan: Nintendo 3DS Sells 26K And Wii U Sells 6K

This week’s Japanese software and hardware charts are in courtesy of Media Create. There was only one new release this week which was the critically acclaimed Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin for the PlayStation 4. You probably guessed that the Nintendo 3DS was the best-selling format as per-usual and it would seem as though the Wii U is suffering from a lack of new releases. That should change soon as the format is getting Xenoblade Chronicles X which should give it a good push. Here’s the best-selling software and hardware this week in Japan.

Japan: Nintendo 3DS Sells 34K And Wii U Sells 7K

This week’s Japanese sales charts are now in thanks to Media Create. You’ll be pleased to know that Xenoblade Chronicles 3D for the New Nintendo 3DS made its début at number three, which isn’t too bad. It couldn’t stop the game getting topped by 3rd Super Robot Wars Z: Tengoku-Hen on PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3. With regards to hardware the Nintendo 3DS was the best-selling platform shifting 34K and the Wii U managed to sell 7K. Here’s the best-selling software and hardware in Japan this week.

Japan: Nintendo 3DS Sells 31K And Wii U Sells 6K

This week’s Japanese charts are now in courtesy of Media Create. As we all expected, Bloodborne on the PlayStation 4 has taken the number one slot and has continued to boost PlayStation 4 sales in the country. If you look at the actual software charts it seems the PlayStation brand is currently dominating. That hasn’t stopped the Nintendo 3DS from selling 31K and the Wii U 6K. Japan: Nintendo 3DS Sells 28K And Wii U Sells 7K

It’s been a busy week for the Japanese video game sales charts as there has been a number of new releases. As expected it is Final Fantasy Type-0 which has claimed the top spot, fending off titles such as Resident Evil: Revelations 2 and Battlefield Hardline. Interestingly, Battlefield Hardline entered the Japanese charts at number three, which isn’t a bad debut at all for a first person shooter. Anyway, here’s the best-selling software and hardware this week in Japan.

UK Charts: Mario Party 10 For Wii U Arrives At Number Four

This week’s UK charts are now in courtesy of GFK Chart Track. It’s been a busy week for video games as there has been a number of new releases. Battlefield Hardline took the number one position and was followed by Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. What was surprising is that Mario Party 10 for Wii U managed to secure fourth place despite mixed reviews. It just goes to show how popular the Mario Party series is with consumers. UK Charts: Zelda Majora’s Mask Climbs To Eleventh And Dying Light Remains Number One

This week’s UK charts are now in thanks to Chart Track and there’s a couple of new entries including DmC: Definitive Edition and Sniper Elite 3: Ultimate Edition. On the Nintendo side of things The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D climbed from fourteen to eleven and the unstoppable Tomodachi Life reentered the charts at number twenty-nine. Tomodachi Life wasn’t the only Nintendo title to reenter the charts as Super Smash Bros on the Nintendo 3DS charted at number thirty-four. This week’s Japanese sales charts are now in and it’s no surprise to see The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask take the number one position in the software charts. There were a few other new releases this week including Samurai Warriors 4-II and Nanatsu no Taizai: The Seven Deadly Sins – Unjust Sin, amongst others. On the hardware side of things it was the Nintendo 3DS that once again proved the most popular format as it shifted 58K. The Wii U continues to struggle as it only managed to sell 7K.
