NPD: Here’s The Best Selling Games In The US During March

The NPD Group has revealed the best-selling video games in the United States during the month of March. Unsurprisingly, Xbox One and PC exclusive Titanfall led the pack, with Infamous: Second Son on the PlayStation 4 lagging slightly behind. There were no Nintendo exclusives in this month’s top ten chart, which you can see below.

Japan: Nintendo 3DS Sells 34K, Wii U Sells 7K

This week’s Media Create sales are now in from Japan. The Nintendo 3DS is once again the best-selling hardware shifting 34K units, beating both the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita. Wii U sales remain steady with Nintendo’s latest console selling 7K. Here’s the best-selling software and hardware in Japan this week.

Japan: Knack Dominates Chart, Wii U Sells 8K And Nintendo 3DS Sells 32K

This week’s Media Create sales figures are now in from Japan. The PlayStation 4 got off to a good start shifting 309,154 units, easily placing it at number one. The Wii U remained steady selling 8,407 units, though Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze slipped to twelfth. Nintendo 3DS sales continued to drop with the handheld selling 32,151 units. Knack was the best-selling game this week.

Japanese Charts: Nintendo 3DS Sells 48K, Wii U Sells 7K

This week’s Japanese sales charts are in from Media Create. The best-selling game this week is Square Enix’s Dragon Quest Monsters 2 remake for the Nintendo 3DS, which sold 443,656 units. Nintendo 3DS sales continue to slow down in Japan with the handheld still selling 48K, while the Wii U dropped slightly to 7K. Here’s the Japanese software and hardware charts.

This week’s Japanese software and hardware charts are in via Media Create. The Nintendo 3DS once again remains the best-selling hardware in Japan with six titles in the top ten. The handheld is followed by the PlayStation Vita which seems to have had a resurgence in recent months. Wii U hardware sales continue to fall with the console managing to sell 8,490 units. Japanese Charts: Nintendo 3DS Sells 60K, Wii U Sells 14K

This week’s Japanese software and hardware charts are now in courtesy of Media Create.  Hardware sales have slipped now the holiday boom is over. The Nintendo 3DS sold 60.154 and the Wii U only sold 14.020. Interestingly, this is the second week that the PlayStation Vita has outsold Wii U, presumably the announcement of PlayStation Now has had some effect. Here’s the software and hardware charts.

Japanese Charts: Nintendo 3DS Dominates, Wii U Outsold By Vita

This week’s Japanese sales charts are now in courtesy of Media Create for December 30th to January 5th. The Nintendo 3DS firmly remains the best-selling video game hardware with 187,920 units sold. Interestingly the Wii U was outsold by the PlayStation Vita this week. Wii U sales were 60.548 while PlayStation Vita sales were 88.169. Japanese Christmas Charts: Nintendo 3DS 208K, Wii U 79K

The Japanese charts are in via Famitsu rather than Media Create for Week 52, 2013 (Dec 23 – Dec 29). The Nintendo 3DS was on fire during the Christmas period in Japan as Nintendo’s handheld shifted an impressive 208.893 units. The Wii U also had a good week in Japan as Nintendo’s latest home console sold 79.174. Apologies for not posting these earlier today, but they normally come through on a Wednesday so I missed them. UK trade publication MCV has published the best-selling games in the United Kingdom for 2013. Nirolak from NeoGAF has compiled a list with sales figures to compare 2013 results with 2012 and 2011.
