Amazon Canada Lists Deadpool For Wii U

Deadpool, an action-adventure game based on characters from the Deadpool comic book franchise, was previously thought to be coming to the Wii U, though rumors were quickly dismissed, and the game was only confirmed for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. But based on a recent listing made by Amazon Canada, the game is coming to Nintendo’s console. However, this can only be classified as a rumor until publisher Activision confirms whether the Wii U will be getting the game. Deadpool will be released on June 25th.

Ubisoft Confirms All Playable Characters In Marvel Avengers: Battle For Earth

Ubisoft has revealed all 20 playable characters in the upcoming fighting game for Wii U and Kinect for the Xbox 360. Marvel Avengers: Battle For Earth features popular Marvel characters, from Black Widow, to Spider Man, to Wolverine, but some fan-favorites, including Deadpool, are not included.

Deadpool For Wii U Is Not Confirmed

A couple of days ago, it seemed like the Deadpool video game was confirmed for Wii U. During a Q&A session at Comic-Con, a fan asked if she or he can play Deadpool and a panelist replied by saying, “You will be able to play on the Wii U.” The panelist was referring to the Wii U version of Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth, in which you can play as the character Deadpool in the game. However, Deadpool may come to Wii U because no platforms have been officially announced.

Deadpool, the video game, is being developed by High Moon Studios and will be published by Activision. A Wii U version of the game is apparently confirmed. According to Wii U Gamers, during Comic-Con, Deadpool producer Pierre Leroux was asked whether the game will be released on Wii U and he responded by saying that it will be playable on Nintendo’s upcoming console.
