Level 5 has officially confirmed that there will be a playable demo for the development studios forthcoming Time Travelers. The demo will be included with Level-5′s own Guild 01. You’ll need to clear certain conditions in Guild 01 to unlock the demo. The news was first revealed in the latest edition of Japanese gaming publication Famitsu.

Level 5 CEO, Akihiro Hino has taken to Twitter to inform a fan that the development team is hard at work creating the next game in the immensely popular Professor Layton series. Hino says that the general framework for the game has already been outlined, but he confessed that it will be a while before they can officially announce the game.

The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that Level 5′s all-star collaboration Guild 01 will be released exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on May 17th, and will retail for ¥3,980. Level 5 has yet to announce a Western release for the game, but it will probably be a while before we hear one. Here’s some key information about Guild 01:

Guild 01 is a collection of four unique titles from four different creators. Grasshopper Manufacture’s Suda 51 is working on Liberation Girl, a shooter. Seaman creator Yoot Saito is working on Air Porter, an airport management simulation. Tactics series creator Yasumi Matsuno is working on Crimson Shroud, a traditional tabletalk style RPG. Finally, comedian Yoshiyuki Hirai is working on Rental Weapon Shop, a fantasy RPG where you play as the owner of an RPG weapon shop.

Hideki Sakamoto has announced via Twitter that Level 5′s Time Travellers for Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita is due for release sometime early in the summer. Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has promised at least five new titles for 2012: Fantasy Life, Girl’s RPG, Time Travelers, Guild 01 and Yokai Watch.

Time Travelers is set in April 2031, 18 years after a mysterious hole appeared in the skies above Tokyo and lead to an explosion, an incident that’s come to be known as “Lost Hole.” Tokyo has become a futuristic city, with hologram billboards and a 2000 meter tall “Space Elevator.” This Space Elevator, located in Tokyo Bay, provides the city with great amounts of power.

Nintendo UK and Europe have announced that they’re publishing the sequel to the well received Level 5 football RPG Inazuma Eleven. Inazuma Eleven 2 will be available across Europe exclusively for the Nintendo DS family of consoles and Nintendo 3DS from the 16th March 2012. You’ll be able to purchase two version of the game, either Inazuma Eleven 2: Firestorm and Inazuma Eleven 2: Blizzard. Here’s some information about the game:

Picking up the story of teenage goalkeeper Mark Evans and his football team one week after their triumph in the Football Frontier tournament, the Raimon Eleven begin a training session when their school is attacked by invaders from outer space from the mysterious Alius Academy. They plan to use a destructive brand of football to totally destroy the world – unless the Raimon Eleven can defeat them in a football match! Only by travelling across the whole of Japan and recruiting the country’s best football players can Mark and the Raimon Eleven find a way to stop Alius Academy and save the world!

Both versions of the game, Inazuma Eleven 2: Firestorm and Inazuma Eleven 2: Blizzard, offer the same overarching storyline with some unique differences. Each version features over 150 unique characters, unique teams to face off against, as well as unique abilities and special moves, but in order to meet other version characters you will have to trade and make important decisions on who to keep hold of and who to let go.

Level 5 has revealed via the Professor Layton and the Spectre’s Call launch trailer that Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle for the Nintendo 3DS will finally be heading to Europe sometime next year. Sadly there’s no information regarding a North American release date.

Level 5 has released a trailer for their forthcoming RPG Time Travelers which is due to come out on the Nintendo 3DS sometime next year. Along with Level 5′s other RPG Fantasy Life these are two upcoming Nintendo 3DS titles to get excited about.

Level 5 has showcased the first footage of Guild 01 a Nintendo 3DS project by an all-star team of developers including No More Heroes creator Suda51 and Yasumi Matsuno, who produced Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story among others. Guild 01 is a compilation title composed of four separate games from the four separate creators. It’s due out sometime next year and sounds promising.

Level 5 has revealed the first trailer for its forthcoming RPG Fantasy Life for the Nintendo 3DS.The game is being co-developed by Brownie Brown and Level-5. The game was previously being developed for the Nintendo DS. Fantasy Life is due out next year.

This weeks edition of Japanese gaming bible Famitsu sheds light on Level 5′s upcoming game Time Travellers. The game is being developed for Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita and the PlayStation Portable. Time Travellers is currently geared up for a 2012 release.

The story behind Time Travelers kicks off a few years in the future as a mysterious hole called the “Lost Hole” appears in the skies above Tokyo accompanied by an explosion. Central Tokyo is destroyed, and many lives are lost.

Things jump 18 years, to 4/28/2031. Tokyo is a futuristic city, with holographic signs filling the streets, and a building called the “Space Elevator” rising from Tokyo Bay. While there’s a “space” in the name, the building is only 2,000 meters high. It serves as a power source for the city.
