Castlevania Dev Mercury Steam Says Its New Game Won’t Be Coming To Wii U

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow developer Mercury Steam has confirmed to GameSpot that their next gen game won’t be arriving on Nintendo’s latest home console, Wii U. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Producer Dave Cox explained that the mystery game is in development for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but wouldn’t divulge why the game won’t come to the Wii U. Cox says that the game in question is radically different from the fantasy based genre they’re known for.

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon isn’t the only Nintendo 3DS game that is delayed to 2013; Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate, developed by Mercury Steam and published by Konami, will also be released next year.
