To coincide with the launch of Wii Mini, Nintendo is also adding to the existing range of Nintendo Selects titles, offering great value for everyone to enjoy classic Wii games. While Nintendo Selects games such as The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy and Animal Crossing: Let’s Go to the City are already available, other classic Wii titles being added to the Nintendo Selects roster in time for the launch of Wii Mini on March 22nd include:
- Mario Party 8 – Everyone can get in on the fun with Mario Party 8 on Wii Mini. Use the Wii Remote to twist, turn, lasso and row your way through six game boards and dozens of thrill-packed minigames.
- Wii Sports Resort – Wii Sports Resort took the inclusive fun and intuitive controls of the original Wii Sports to the next level, introducing a whole new set of entertaining and physically immersive activities. With the deep control enhancements available through using the Wii Remote Plus, newcomers to this game can enjoy unprecedented gaming precision as they cruise on a water scooter, duel with swords, toss flying discs and much more.
- Mario Power Tennis – Power up your tennis game on Wii Mini by swinging the Wii Remote to smack powerful forehands, backhands and lobs. You can take on the role of your favourite Mario characters and play on imaginative Mushroom Kingdom courts, including a court littered with famous Mario-style power-ups. As you win tournaments, clear minigames or challenge Gimmick Courts, you will unlock new characters, courts and challenges. Bring some friends because up to four players can compete in wild multiplayer tennis matches.
- Super Paper Mario – Princess Peach needs to be rescued from an evil kidnapper – and Bowser isn’t to blame! You can take control of Mario, Luigi, Bowser and Princess Peach – who escaped by herself after she had been kidnapped – to overcome the evil Count Bleck in an action adventure game that mixes traditional side-scrolling 2D platforming with 3D exploration and puzzle-solving.
In North America, two titles – Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin 2 - join the Nintendo Selects collection. Both of these games were originally released on Nintendo GameCube but have been updated with enhanced Wii controls and are available to purchase for $19.99. Two original Wii games – Super Smash Bros. Nintendo of America is adding two great games to the Nintendo Selects value collection for the Wii console on June 10 with Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin 2, a Nintendo GameCube classic making its U.S. debut on Wii. Nintendo Selects games are available at a suggested retail price of $19.99.
Separately, two of the best-selling Wii games of all time will be getting new prices: Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Donkey Kong Country Returns each will be available at a suggested retail price of $29.99. The value pricing provides shoppers with a great way to expand their game collections with some of the hottest Wii games around.

The four new titles are Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers Charged, Punch Out!! and Super Mario Galaxy. These four titles will retail for around $19.99 each from August 28th.
Three of the four new additions to the Nintendo Selects collection invite players to interact with Nintendo’s iconic Mario™ character in imaginative and entertaining ways: Super Mario Galaxy is an out-of-this-world adventure in which Mario must travel through outer space to rescue Princess Peach™ from the devious Bowser™; Super Paper Mario offers classic Mario RPG action that can be switched from flat 2D worlds to a full open-world perspective; and Mario Strikers Charged finds the Mushroom Kingdom crew storming the soccer field for fast-paced athletic kicks. Also, the fan-favorite Punch-Out!! game delivers motion-controlled boxing thrills with a host of memorable characters. All four games feature multiplayer modes that let friends and family members have fun together.
Online gaming publication Kotaku are reporting that four new games being added to Nintendo Selects budget line. The four games in question are Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers Charged, Punch-Out!! and Super Mario Galaxy. These four titles will apparently be discounted sometime later this month.

Nintendo of America has announced that they’re reducing the price of the Nintendo Wii starting from May 15th. For $149.99 American gamers will get the newly priced Wii system which comes in either black or white with Mario Kart Wii and a matching coloured Wii Wheel.
Nintendo of America also announced that they’re launching a new range of budget software which is titled Nintendo Selects. The four games in this collection are The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Mario Super Sluggers, and Wii Sports, which is available for the first time as a separate software purchase. The Nintendo Selects titles will be available at a suggested retail price of $19.99 from May 15th.

Nintendo UK has announced that they’re reducing the trade price of their existing Wii Sports Resort Pack, which includes a black Wii console, Wii Remote Plus, Nunchuk and a copy of Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. This will be effective from May 20th.
Nintendo UK has also announced that they’re bringing out a Wii classic range which is titled Nintendo Selects. The games on offer include Wii Sports, WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Mario Strikers Charged Football and Animal Crossing: Let’s Go To The City. This budget range will be available to consumers from May 20th.
