Zen Studios Has New Tables For Zen Pinball 2 On Wii U

Zen Studios is announcing that the Wii U version of its popular pinball platform, Zen Pinball 2 will receive a hefty update to its table roster on August 28. The update will bring the latest Marvel Pinball tables to the game, including the newly released Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool, and Doctor Strange tables, as well as a table based on Telltale Games’ award-winning adventure game series, The Walking Dead .

“We’re huge supporters of the Wii U, and have worked to ensure a great pinball experience across the board for our fans on the system,” said Mel Kirk, VP of Publishing at Zen Studios. “This table update is only a small piece of our ongoing future commitment to the platform, so be ready for more announcements coming soon.”

The new tables will be available for purchase through the Wii U eShop for $2.99/€2,99/£2.49.

Zen Studios Says It Has Wii U News On The Way, Says It’s A Difficult Platform To Support Technically

Zen Studios forum administrator CrackerVizzo says that the company have some big Wii U news to share in the near future. CrackerVizzo says that while the platform is a difficult one to support from a technical standpoint, they are fully committed to developing for the console. Here’s what he had to say.

“Actually, we will have some very big Wii U news very soon. This is a difficult platform to support from a technology standpoint. Simple patches are not simple. New content additions are not easy due to the way the system is set up. We are committed to supporting Wii U. Again, please look for an announcement in the coming weeks. Marvel Pinball In Nintendo 3DS eShop Is 50 Percent Off For A Limited Time

Zen Studios Is Still Working On Star Wars Pinball Wii U


Zen Studios, the development team behind Zen Pinball 2 on the Wii U, has announced via Twitter that they are working hard on bringing the Star Wars Pinball downloadable content to the console. The development studio has also revealed that they are currently working on some existing issues relating to Zen Pinball 2 on Wii U.

We are still working on SWP for Wii U as well as fixing some existing issues :)

Zen Pinball 2 Hits The Wii U eShop In North America This Month

The pinball video game will be a free download, with paid downloadable content available in the Nintendo eShop. Each downloadable pinball table will cost $3, and a pack of four tables can be purchased for $10.

The UK Gets Its First Free-To-Play Wii U Game

zen_pinball_2In Japan, the first free-to-play title to hit the Wii U is Namco Bandai Games’ Tank! Tank! Tank!. In the UK, however, Zen Studios’ Zen Pinball 2 is the the country’s first free-to-play Wii U title. Starting later this week, consumers in the UK can download Zen Pinball 2 for free from the Nintendo eShop on Wii U. Downloadable content for the free pinball video game will be priced at £2.39-£7.99. Also hitting the Nintendo eShop on Wii U today is the digital version of Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition, which costs £49.99 to download.
