  1. That’s a very good question, I have no idea why it was absent from the list but as far as me and my work colleagues are aware the title is still on schedule for launch according to our release dates. Strange.

  2. Interesting stuff. I can’t help but think though, that the figures that Nintendo and Sony released would have been under-exaggerated so that neither of the companies really quite knows what to expect. I also think Wii should release some games more suited to the young adult audience or revenues might not be as high as hoped. We’ll really start to see how things unfold when the deadline starts getting pressed thin for the release dates.

  3. Sup ‘sickr’

Good job with the blog, I check up your site everyday and even twice a day on most days.

    Keep it up

  4. Thanks for the input guys, as always it’s very much appreciated. Nintendo definitely have a winner on their hands with Wii. If they can cater for the wide range of audiences that they’ve pledged to serve then it’s hard to see just how the Wii can be anything other than an enormous success for the company we all love.

  5. I’ll be buying the Wii just so I can play Twilight Princess. After all these years I still cannot give up my Zelda addiction!!

  6. why does the PS3 have some games listed as 800,000, but only have 500,000 systems world wide. Something seems suspicious.

  7. You cant go wrong with Twilight Princess. Red Steel looks interesting too. And i cant wait until Super Smash Brothers Brawl. And also, is it just me, or has sony shiped more copies of a single game than it has actual consols? 6 more hours until the Wii!!!

  8. The Wii is dominate. Its motion-sensor gameplay is one more step to virtual-reality gameplay. Nintendo always have the better tech and they been in the gaming industry since the 1980s so they know what the people want. And Zelda:Twilight Princess will push the Wii further ahead PS3 and the 360. Nintendo is returning.

The people who perfer the PS3 and the 360 has been brain-washed by their high-def graphics. What if PS3 came out with a game that has the best graphics in the world but you can beat it in 5 minutes. I wouldn’t buy it. I’m a plot-player, not a graphic-player.

  9. Being fare, lets look at things this way. It is without a doubt that when it comes to hardware, both the 360 and the ps3 are stronger systems, HOWEVER, I believe the Wii is the best buy out of the 3 next-gen consoles. I will be purchasing a Wii. Costing atleast a 100 dollars less than each, the Wii brings something brand new to major console gaming with the wand controller. Finally I will be able to take the next step into virtual reality. I can swing for the fences and fence off some goblins.
A very hard time I am having with giving up on Sony and Microsoft this time around, is the reality that those systems had some incredible games that Nintendo did not. The Metal Gear Games, The Final Fantasies, NINJA GAIDEN(play it if you have not), GTA, and many more. But this sacrifice must be made. Zelda is always legendary and who could go wrong with the next generation Super Mario(Please nintendo make this a great one). I really do not think that Nintendo will even have the best games out….nor the best hardware….nor the best online. BUT, because its a Unique system, an less expensive price, and an Italian Plumber smile, Most folks will swing with the Wii and the industry returns to its rightful owner….Nintendo. Thank you – Billy Mead

  10. hey guys just checking out ur comments on Wii and PS3 well i got something here u guys might like to read, its about online gaming and this article shows that Online gamming was Invented by…. NINTENDO with the NES. incredible ey? i found that too.. well check this website to see for urselves:
    See ya later boys

  11. hehehehe seems like PS is losing its power… well that was predictable. any of u guys had a try at the Wii? well since i live in Aus i have to wait til the 7th of december (can’t wait!!) but i had a go at it at this nintendo even where u can play it at the Mall… its a mad experience… no wonder PS is going down…

  12. wii is da bomb i love it im jus waiting for my dad to buy me the zelda twilight princess zelda my favourite game out of all

  13. hey Sickr, i’m trying hard to find some hints and tips on the Twilight Princess game, i got up to the fight with Zant, big boss, but i don’t have an idea of how to defeat him, i tried reflecting hos attacks and stuff, but nothing works… if u have some info, can u pass it to me?? pretty please? thanks man.

  14. hey if anyone else sees this comment, and know about anything except telling me to buy a Nintendo power magazine which is hard to find here in Australia :( please gimme some info… i’ll keep trying til then…

  15. hey Sickr, thanx heaps man, well, i did find out how to defeat him after half an hour, but Gannon is quite hard.. thanx heaps for the site :D

  16. all of you are brain dead….the ps3 is the best console out there,i admit the controller isnt as good as the wii’s, but the whole console is better….it has a better hardrive…and soon to be better is a lot of moey…but the price will drop in the near future..SONY PLAYSTATION 3 SON

  17. Little known fact. Nintendo actually helped Sony with making the Playstation 1 and thats why the N64DD didnt leave Japan.

  18. well well, i guess then more than 2 million people are brain dead according to this guy, whereas sony has about 1m people that remain sane plus PS3 laying around retailer’s shelves… oh no, the Wii’s are sold out constantly… hehehehe

  19. still Wii is the best, the games are coming out more n more n they rocks!!They even have the collest controller design..very2 different compare to existing controller for gamers

  20. Nintendo is for kids and teenagers,so i think those negative comments made about the Superior console (PS3) shouldn’t be taken serious, let the kiddies play mario and zelda, haha ha ha ha,while the serious “Man” stuff goes to PS3 & XboX 360 in regards to price well when they grow up they might be earning enough to buy the superior console.

  21. Nintendo is so boring always the same games with a little bit better graphics ,i dont know why people still buy that rubbish, their image as a Kiddies Machine has to change ps3 could be their downfall unless they change their teenagers game catologue. The Gamecube was such a flop i hope they have learned from their mistakes.

  22. Nintendo’s got the most potential right now. They have a reasonably priced console that has a faster production than the ps3. So, putting 2 and 2 together, along with a uniqe attribute (the token controller ANYONE can use) nintendo could be by far the leader. Everyone on this blog preaches about graphics, graphics, graphics when in two years people will be preaching games, online support, reliability, etc. my best advice, don’t patronize sony and their overpriced calculator. Go with a product designed by a company with 20+ years in the industry.

  23. Phil i stand and clap for u, nice comment and well said! i mean how can graphics matter in a world like today? look, everything is bought buy how it interacts with the consumer. and like the DS, the psp has better graphics, multimedia centre, but where’s the good games? there’s nothing. and look how many PS3 on the shelves around the world, 360 only sold 10m in 1 yr, Nintendo have sold 3m-5m average, almost half of the 360 in only about 2 months. and lots of companies are joining nintendo like tht italian company and nintendo has had positive reviews even buy game creators from other companies like the guy from Doom and Quake and then the guy From MGS4 and EA, capcom, konami, SE, so i mean, u’ll see in a few years, the next gen will be copying nintendo’s Wii system, Sony already started. its been like this for 20 years, Nintendo creates innovation, addapts style, creates standards and other companies follow. what evolution has MS and Sony created? HD dvd and Blu ray? those two were invented years ago, but never adapted. i stick with a company that has had High quality for 20 years and always pushing gamming forward, cause they know what they do, and from those creations other electrical appliances are created based on Nintendo’s advances. that my friends is called the Nintendo Difference.

  24. I have attempted to leave a response here and each time I try the form times out the screen or gives an error. Do you think someone possibly check into the reason it keeps messing up?
