Nintendo Wii: Nintendo Plans To Fix Smash Brothers Brawl Problem

Inundated with dissatisfied Wii owners, Nintendo offers to repair ‘faulty’ Wii consoles.

After numerous sites reported that gamers were having trouble playing the almighty Super Smash Brothers due to disc read errors, Nintendo steps in and offers to repair consoles free of charge.

“Super Smash Bros Brawl utilises a double-layer disc which has a large memory capacity. A very small percentage of Wii consoles may have trouble consistently reading data off this large capacity disc if there is some contamination on the lens of the drive.”

  1. I’ve own Super Smash Bros Brawl and I love it. The only problem is online play. The screen becomes so choppy when I’m on Wi-Fi that I almost always lose (and I never lose). I have a very strong Wi-Fi signal, but the game just won’t play smoothly! Do you have any suggestions? Should I, perhaps, try using Ethernet?
