Activision have officially announced that the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be arriving on Nintendo Wii, November 10th.
Modern Warfare for the Nintendo Wii won’t be developed by original developer, Infinity Ward, but instead will developed by Treyarch. Whilst it isn’t Modern Warfare 2 as many were previously expecting, it will still be a welcomed addition to the ever-extensive Wii back catalogue.
I don’t know if this is good or bad. On the one hand it is support but on the other hand is a port. And not just a port, but an old old port. Is the wii the hand me down games of this generation?
This is great. Another good shooter for a system perfectly designed for shooter games. I don’t even care if it’s a port.

Why are they giving us an old game? Why can’t they release Modern Warfare 2 on the Wii? I hate lazy publishers, and this is a perfect example of that. I’ll still buy it, but it better not be watered down.
