Nintendo 3DS: Zelda Ocarina Of Time 3D Will Officially Be Released In The United States June 19th

Nintendo of America have confirmed that the long awaited The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D will launch on the Nintendo 3DS June 19th.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D will also include The Legend of Zelda: Master Quest, which basically features more challenging dungeons, tougher puzzles and the familiar Ocarina storyline.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D brings a completely re-mastered version of an epic entry in the beloved The Legend of Zelda game series to Nintendo’s newest hand-held system, Nintendo 3DS. The game couples phenomenally enhanced graphics with stunning, glasses-free 3D visuals to bring to life the daring adventures of its hero, Link™. A streamlined touch-screen interface and newly implemented motion controls provide a fresh and intuitive feel as players immerse themselves in the tale of the creation of Hyrule and the struggle for control of its all-powerful ancient relic. The game will also feature new challenges not included in the original game. The Legend of Zelda veterans can look forward to the Master Quest – a second quest with revamped puzzles and redesigned dungeons that feature the same graphical and interface upgrades as the main game. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is a masterful improvement on one of the landmark releases in video game history.

  1. “The game will also feature new challenges not included in the original game.”

I hope this is something great! New dungeon or side quests? Or a Four Sword-like multiplayer mode? (Wishful thinking!)

  2. It’s really awesome news to hear that Master Quest is also going to benefit from the graphical and interface updates that Ocarina of Time is getting instead of just porting that version of the game over exactly as it was on the gamecube. This will surely help drive up sales of the 3DS that Nintendo is wanting.

  4. Has anywhere released what the extra content is yet?, Was hoping we would get URA since it was “completed”, Can’t see it happening though If it was I would think they would be pushing it.

    1. I agree, was looking for URA Zelda, but I doubt it. Would be completely awesome if it did. FInd it a bit disappointing if MQ is what they mean by additional content because we already had it.
