Nintendo has told online trade publication MCV that the company still plans to release The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Nintendo Wii later this year.
There has been a lot of speculation recently about whether Nintendo will move its flagship title to its next generation platform which is set to be revealed at this years E3. Thankfully Nintendo has confirmed that its still destined for Wii and will arrive later this year.
“There are great new pieces of software launching this year such as Wii Play: Motion in June and Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword later on in 2011,”
– Nintendo marketing manager Rob Lowe

Hahahaaahaha
I can’t see it releasing on the “Feel” (teehee), especially if the controller is this tablet thing. The entire game is based around MotionPlus, and I can’t see it working with the new controller…
Holiday 2011..
i’m just saiyan
wait a minute, Rob Lowe? the same guy who played the bad guy in Wayne’s World and a Young #2 in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me?
“Guess what? We lied. There are no surprises. SURPRISE!”
Wii Play? That’s hilarious.
Let’s just get to E3 so Kirby, Xenoblade and Pandora’s Tower are announced for the US (the other 2 for Europe) so they don’t have to call Wii Play Motion a “great game” for PR purposes.
