  1. Wasn’t the ‘New Zelda’ actually Twilight Princess? The giant spider looked like the boss from Temple of Time

    1. That was years ago. But you are right the boss though. There should be multiple zelda games in development.

  2. I hope it comes in black, waited 4 the Wii 2 be available in black, I do not know if I can wait 4 this one.

  4. The system looks magnificent. I am ecstatic. Been a Nintendo fan since I was 4 (born in 1990) and honestly, Nintendo has only one disappointment on my checklist. The Gamecube.

The Wii U I know I’m going to love. I see alot of anti-Nintendo fans are going on the name (which I think is pretty cool btw) and the fact that the actual system wasn’t the focus, but honestly I see third party exclusives coming to the Wii U.

The only thing I want to get excited about but can’t is the Zelda HD footage. The reason being because I don’t want to get my hopes up on a game not officially announced and they pull a Spaceworld 2000 Zelda Wind Waker move. Other than that 2012 is going to be an awesome year in gaming for Nintendo.

    1. Really? You didn’t like the Gamecube? It has tons of great titles: Luigi’s Mansion, Pikmin 1&2, Zelda Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine, to name a few.

      1. It’s not that I didn’t like the Gamecube but I expected more from it. I definitely had great titles. Especially Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. I just remember a sense of disappointment when it first released. So to clarify, I eventually was won over, but it took awhile.

  6. i thought nintendo’s E3 was good, but not as exciting and amazing as last year’s. bit disappointed not to see new kirby, earthbound and metroid games on the 3DS, wii U.

however, new super mario 3D, keen, smash bros, luigi’s mansion 2, star fox sound terrific, as well as kid icarus.

the controller looks amazing. the fact you can browse the web, play games, make video calls and use it as a drawing tablet sounds cool.

i agree with some people that they should’ve shown the actual console for the wii U, but still i can get over that. and i’m glad that a tekken game is coming out for the 3DS. i hope it’s not a watered down version, like the gameboy advance tekken game though. which was nothing to write home about.

in all good, but if only they released metroid, earthbound as well, the wii U and 3DS line-up would’ve been more spectacular.
