Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime appeared on US show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to give American audiences a taste of what Nintendo has to offer this year and beyond. The first title Reggie demonstrated was Kid Icarus Uprising. Reggie decided to show off the AR Cards rather than show off actual gameplay of the Nintendo 3DS title. Next up was the fantastic looking Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword which provides a great showcase for Wii MotionPlus. Lastly Reggie Fils-Aime brought out the Wii U and reiterated to Fallon that the console will be out sometime after April 2012.
most epic reaction to a boss fight…EVER!
Yeah! I just though the same. ;)
Can’t care less about that AR card game with Kid Icarus (Hey Nintendo, just bring us some AR Pokémon, wich would make more sense!). On the other hand, I’m pretty much excited about the next wii Zelda.
There are AR Pokémon on the Pokédex 3d 3DSware game.
WHY I AM NOT IN THE PUBLIC? DAMN I WISH TO LIVE IN NORTH AMERICA LOL
Wow. Lucky audience members + Skyward Sword looks good.

I wonder what they were using to connect the 3ds to the tv o_O
Whoa the audience roared when hearing they would get Ocarina of Time 3D for free! Yup, Reggie kicked ass and took names.
It would suck, getting the Ocarina of Time game for free and not having a 3DS.
I’m sure there are some people from that audience that will go out and buy one now.
Some will sell the game for a profit haha
That was Nintendo’s way of getting those without a 3DS to go out and BUY one.
Lol his reaction to the skeleton, he so wanted to play that. The video was going well until at the end where all the audience got the game, there I got all jealous.
You sick son of a bitch come on!!!! Hahaha!!
Just watched it on youtube and there was a comment made by someone that raises concerns about the stalfos: how Jimmy was able to defeat it so easily by first stunning it with a blow and then spamming attacks while it was stunned; in short negating the need to use the motion plus to get past the enemy’s defenses. However I think they just lowered the stalfo’s HP for that demonstration lol :D
What conserns me is that you don’t have to place a bomb to finish them off, how it’s traditionally suppose to be?
Reggie did say it is the first dungeon, so it won’t be too hard to defeat.
Zelda was nice, but no Wii U demo? Just a “here’s the console, hold the controller, and it’ll be out ‘sometime’ next year?” Ugh, I would have liked at least ONE new piece of info.
Niice! I love Jimmy Fallon because he always invites game developers and showcases games.
I think I made mistake not going to New York to see his show yesterday. Free Zelda? Yes, please! :D
I would’ve liked them to play at least a bit of one of the Wii U tech demos, but whatever.
“Everyone in the audience is gonna get,”
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”
“…..This OoT3D box.”
I am so jealous of everyone in that audience, also dam you Jimmy! I want to play Skyward Sword :(
