I’m not from the States so I’m not entirely sure what a GameStop PowerUp Rewards Pro membership is but if you have one then you can snap up a Nintendo 3DS for $99 if you trade in a Nintendo DSi, DSi XL or a Nintendo DS Lite between Friday, August 12th and Sunday, August 14th. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me!

Just got the email myself. Unfortunately, I can’t part with my DS lite.
That sounds like a great deal, GAME will just about give me €40 for my DS Lite… D:
Great Deal… but I won’t part with my DS Lite. If I had a spare, I’d go for it.
the pro membership has a subscription fee,
the 3DS is now 170,
so that would make my DSi worth about 50 bucks?
no thanks. I’ll pass.
nope.avi gamestop
gg though.
With the 3DS at $170 now that’s not much of a deal. Besides, I’m planning to keep my DSi.
I don’t have a box for my dsi:( But, do you think gamestop will still accept it?
darn didnt realize it said pro:/
my red mario ds lite will be an antique, sitting on my shelf.
For the Lite, it’s a good deal, but I don’t want to trade mine in so I can still play GBA games.
Ouch! … (but so true…)
Great deal, especially since the 3DS can play DS games.
The PowerUp reward program is basically the same as Club Nintendo. When you apply for it, you get a card that you activate by creating an online account. Every time you buy or trade in using your card at a gamestop, you get points that you can use to get items from the reward program. Some of them are exclusives such as a Zelda belt or you can also get gift cards depending how many points you get. The 3DS thing only requires you to have that card and trade in your DS. It’s free, btw.
The Pro membership is $15
Paid full price for my 3DS and street fighter

Got my email today, this is exactly what I’ve been holding out for. My gf has a DSLite that she never plays and I have a DSi that she always hogs, so I’m going to try and get her to let me trade in the DSLite for a new 3DS. I also have $75 from used games on my PowerUp Pro card, so I’ll get the 3DS for $25 +tax.
I think I’ll wait to open it though and trade it in later for the red 3DS.
in august they are going to have a 3ds xl
I have a DS Lite and 3DS. Good deal, though.
Along time ago, I got a ds lite for Christmas. Last year I traded it in for a dsi xl, and this year I traded in my dsi xl for a 3ds. Gotta love gamestop
