Nintendo America has announced that downloadable puzzles for Professor Layton and the Last Spectre will be free to download over Wi-Fi starting from Sunday October 23rd. Professor Layton and the Last Spectre was released in North America today and will be coming to Europe on November 25th.

I know PL is made by Level-5, but is PL actually a part of Nintendo? Like could we see Layton in a new Super Smash Bros?
He could always appear as a 3rd party character, now that they’ve been introduced in Brawl.
And are these the same on-cart content as the first three Layton games – just periodically unlocked? Doesn’t really make much difference, it’s just sort of odd.
Oh I thought he was part of Nintendo…..oh well
