Nintendo 3DS: Mario Kart 7 Scores A Perfect Ten In Famitsu

Respected Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has awarded Mario Kart 7 a perfect ten. Three of the Famitsu reviewers gave the game a 9 whilst one went all out and slapped down a perfect 10. Mario Kart 7 comes out December 2nd in Europe and December 4th in North America.

    1. In the mean, most aids perform well in a strictly climatological situation. Interestingly, the simple blending of persistence and climatology used by HPAC (Half Persistence And Climatology) is difficult to beat in the Southern Hemisphere. Apparently, the past motion of the storm provides a simple, but effective, measure of the departure of the actual environment from that which produced the track given by the Climatology aid alone.

    1. Why? I only know of 2 10s this year so far skyward sword and uncharted 3 and the only 10 I saw for uncharted 3 was on ign but multiple reviewers rated Zelda a 10

      1. MW3 got a perfect score while BF3 only got a 7 or 8.

Most reviewers have become incredibly biased with double-standards.

If the reviewers don’t give a perfect score, the fanboys revolt. If the do give a perfect score, the game industry suffers because they no longer will feel the need to innovate.

      1. no it would be rounded down to a 9. decimals are rounded up if the number is .5 or higher. so if it got a 9.5, then that would round up to a 10. but in reality, a 9.25 rounds DOWN to a 9.

    1. It doesn’t equal a ten. The ten is because Famitsu has four reviewers and one of the four gave a ten. Honestly though it’s just another misleading title by sickr (cardstacking). Famitsu’s score was 37/40 which is still pretty great.

  1. i can’t wait for this game. it was probably the biggest reason why i bought a 3DS.

also, why does nintendo release games in america on sunday? i’d much prefer them to be released on friday.

      1. What’s up with christians flashing with their beliefs?

That mentality bugs the living shit out of me. Not sure why though…

        1. I feel the same way. I used to be devoutly catholic, and I got sick of it. I don’t tell people why, and I never flashed into anyone’s face that I’m not religious, but I can’t stand when people go around saying “Oh, I’m christian, you should be too.”

But anyways, religion isn’t what this blog is about. WOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH, MARIO KART 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          1. I never said you should be a christian (though i’d enjoy it) I just said I was a christian. (buy the way it was NOT me who said something about nintendo being gay)

  2. As much as I’d like to automatically give this game a 10/10 because Mario’s in it, I’ll still play the game myself before rating it, which is the right way to rate a game. Nevertheless, getting this for Christmas. CAN’T WAIT TO PLAY!!

      1. As much as I’d like to buy it day 1, I’d probably enjoy waiting to get it on Christmas day even more :D Besides, I’d be getting it for free!

  3. Okay I honestly doubt it’s gonna be THAT good of an installment. Not saying it’ll suck, I won’t know that until I play it. But I doubt it’s going to be another perfect 10 for Nintendo.

      1. What does driving karts have to do with SM3DL? I would of understood if you said it was gonna be the best mario game ever but you said MK.

  4. It’s a 37, not a perfect ten. Still, I got my copy paid off already and it’s going to be my first Mario Kart game since the N64.

Now let’s wait and see gamespot get their copy of the game earlier than us for free and then play it and complain that you can’t look forward and at your butt at the same time and give it a 6.5 (and that’s being generous). Let’s see how many reviewers call it “the same” while ignoring all other racers that have come out this year with no issues of being “the same.”

    1. This game has no blood, guts or sex. And has a limited online experience. That’s an automatic 3 from X-Play. 4 if they’re feeling generous.

  5. Silly Nintendo sony is the best Nintendo just paid them to give that shit game a high score let me know when you nintendo kids is ready to play with the big boy’s thats if you got the balls to play some kill zone or god of war and stop saving little mushroom people oh and one more thing i just bought the game skyward sword limited edition and is garbage
the wii remote looks like crap the orchestra soundtrack sucks full of mistakes and the game is just ok, the controls are not responsive at times but the game is just more of the same…

      1. Stop feeding the troll. Nobody is to respond to noname’s comments anymore. That is literally the 9th time he has posted that exact same post since the release of Skyward Sword. That was Sunday, today is Wednesday.

Sickr is there any sort of action you can take against him?

      1. I know, he’d have money for other games if he stopped buying limited editions of Skyward Sword every day.

        I’m now tempted to write:
“I just bought god of war and the game is complete garbage, the box art looks like crap and the game is full of mistakes and the online play is just ok, the controls are not responsive at times, and the game is more or less the same as Call of Duty”

I don’t see what posting his thoughts on Skyward sword on every thread is going to do. If you don’t like it, trade it in, that simple.

  6. Very misleading title… But good to know it got a 37/40.
I really do prefer famitsu’s way of scoring games to every other game website… adding four reviewer’s scores seems so much more sensible than using one person’s judgment to skew the results in one way or another… Get a nice check and balance with famitsu. That way you know when a game gets a 40 it’s a big deal because all 4 out of 4 gamers thought it was pretty much perfect.

  7. I’ve only played this game for about five minutes, but hot dang it was incredibly fun. The controls are great, as expected, the courses are well-designed and the new features give an interesting twist. The 3D is also pretty spectacular.
Oh and in the four races I played, most of the time in first place, I didn’t get blue shelled once.

  10. Nintendo stated in a recent update that the Gba ambassador games will be following the december release of MK7. (This is for europe though)

  11. SWEET! Time to chuck my woodchucker till my woodchucker chucks all of it’s wood chips in the womping woods known as Aids. May we all believe that the soul of being a free do-er is nothing less than the foul cry of the wolves known as harping hello kitties. Have we all not learned the lesson of free willy 2?
