thats why they were losing money on the system until 3 years after it launched and when they gave it a price cut they barely started making money off of it and are still in 3rd place in sales.. yeah not a fail at all….
people only talk because they have mouths (or in this case, fingers ;D). PS3 is waaay far from being a fail. It is a console waay more powerfull than Wii, and has a lot of games, really cool games. Wii has sold more because it’s cheaper, as simple as that, but all the good games are for PS3 and xbox 360, couse wii isn’t powerfull enough. Don’t get me wrong, I love my wii and it’s games, but honestly, I like my ps3 better.

It actually is a fail.
Because they priced it so high at the beginning, no one bought it. After they dropped the price, they were losing a ton of money on each system (even though there weren’t that many games out at that moment to make up for it). They have only recently in the past couple years made a good profit on their sales and even then, I don’t think they have made a positive total net profit this gen yet (which is why they were saying things like “we wont make a big leap for next gen” or “we are going to try to make this gen last as long as possible”). They are in last place profit-wise I believe.
That’s why the PS3 is most definitely a fail (This is coming from a guy who owns and plays one BTW).

The was it was going to be for me and my fiance, only it would involve her killing me as well. Luckily I found a good offer from my brother; he had an old DSLite he wasn’t using and by trading it in I got $70, so I can sell my old 3DS and OoT 3D on ebay for more than what it cost me to get this one. So essentially I got it for free, and I just have to pay my brother anything over what I paid for the 3DS that I earn from ebay.
All got was a bit of yelling, but totally worth it lol

Took me all morning to find Best Buy because they sold it for 180 as opposed to every other store selling it for 200. I got there at 11 PM and got the LAST one! It was actually just a display model but the gaming lady let me take it home. It is honestly the best thing I have ever wasted my paycheck on…

Got mine, waiting to put scree protectors on it before playing it. From the pictures I’ve seen it is glorious. Just wish they had gone that extra mile and added a golden circle pad and stylus to match…
