Respected UK gaming publication Edge Magazine has published its game of the year lists. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword which received a perfect ten out ten review score has won the mainstream game of the year award beating both Skyrim and Dark Souls. Nintendo also scooped up the award for best publisher of the year and portable game of the year with Mario Kart 7. Here’s the full list:

I disagree with Mario kart 7 beating SM3DL but I agree with everything else.
I don’t, I actually said Mario Kart 7 was a great game and is my favorite game of the year. SM3DL did deserve it as well, but MK7 was just extremely good.

Skyward Sword really deserves it as I couldn’t put it down for three days, just after completing OoT3D while I got bored of Skyrim cause it’s so similar to Oblivion.
I’m more happy for Nintendo though because they’ve spent the last few years with people insulting the company, telling them to give up and even losing the trillion yen, but they still pull off multiple awards and Edge’s developer of the year!

i personally preferred BF3’s visuals over UC3, uc3 had an outsanding amounts of detail but BF3’s lighting killed it.
