New Kid Icarus Uprising Trailer Shows Off The Game’s Intense Difficulty Modes

Nintendo of America has uploaded a new trailer for the action-packed Kid Icarus: Uprising on the Nintendo 3DS. The new trailer details the game’s Fiend’s Cauldron which allows players to customize their play experience by adjusting the intensity level. The higher the difficultly level you play on, the greater the reward.

  1. That’s a cool feature that would be nice in quite a few games. Though I’m still hesitant about the game itself

      1. From what I hear its packed with content. Its over 8 lvls long, and considering the producer is the same guy who made smash bros. You can be sure its gonna have plenty of content.

  2. Looks like a much deeper adaptation of the TWEWY system (like I’ve probably said before)…

Nintendo could make a killer MMO with this sort of system… once it gets an acronym (FC… hehe) then you know Nintendo has caught on with the “hardcore” gamers. But seriously, an MMO. Imagine having a Pokemon MMO with this system… you get a higher chance for good items to be held by the Pokemon when you catch it, and shinies come at something like a 0.1% appear rate instead of the usual 0.001% (or whatever low number it is).

  4. “The greater the intensity, the greater the reward!”

That’s why I love hard-to-beat games, I hope the 9 levels of difficulty keep me playing it for a long time!

  5. Seems like taken Level 9 from Super Smash Bros and putting in this game really shows how hard the game get.

Plus after each level or chapter this may happen then when you have certain amount your difficulty increase making the game harder to get through.
